Turn-based and action-packed is a contradiction in terms. As far as I know, turn-based games are slow and strategy-based rather than fast.

...Waaaait a second, I just noticed something incredibly silly!
In the build menu, it lists the Jammer Truck as a good target for the Raptor Fighter, even though air units can't get close enough to attack them.
(speaking of which, the "best targets/worst target" thing is kind of useless since just about everything has War Machine/Rockets/Jammer on Best and Annihilator as Worst.)

I just think the scenarios are too unrealistic. I mean... How do you get an entire fleet on a lake surrounded by enemy forces? But good game.

I truly do miss Battalion Arena. Just the level editor itself made the game fun and interactive for the player after they finished the campaign.

To me that is one way to put in saying that the Warmachine deploys units.
That and it does look like it poops them out.

I wish the developer had made it so we could scroll around the map with WASD and the arrow keys instead of just the arrow keys. Otherwise, great game.

The game is really good, the only thing that can be complained about is the intelligence of the enemy. With some tactics, you can outplay even an enemy who outnumbers you. Even if he has damage advantage, because you play on hard. You can even abuse various means of blocking the path by units that an enemy unit can't attack and the next time you leave the spot, back and forth, enemy moves back and forth, too.

Yeah...this game is definitely worth the 1 star I made it, next time you make a game, try to learn how to make an actual fair difficulty instead of just making the enemy cheap.

i havent played these games for a while but recently there were bonus points for one of the missions on this game and playing it again reminded me of how funny this game series is

What a truly excellent game. I don't even like strategy games, but this one's charm is so great I can't resist giving it 5/5.

I have to comment - this game is one of the most successful I have played in terms of implementing a game that can only be won with strategy. Really good job.

Needs to be a way to skip the enemy's turn. Many time I just want to restart the map and have to wait.

I miss a quicksave feature - it is annoying to loose in a difficult fight just before you had finished him off... then all has to be done again.

ugtvdotorq : there is a "skip dialogues" in the options,
I agree that the hard level is kinda unfair, but that's the point it's hard, but with an apprpriate strategy you can make it without problems, as for the skip button for the enemies moves, personally i didn't need it as I was observing their moves.. All in all, I love the game 5/5

Having said that.. its still a very fun and well-made game. The problem with the hard AI is that its in some ways too easy (usually you can just hang back, absorb the initial assault whilst constructing just a few of the correct units, often to gain mastery over the sea, whilst the AI doesnt continue money production and builds too many of the same type of unit.

I've got to agree with comments about the hard level. Its particularly difficult to plan tactically when it tells you an enemy plane will do 25 damage, your equivalent enemy plane has 25 health, and yet will be destroyed by one attack.
