Pretty fun game. Reminds me of my Advance Wars game for the DS that I broke by accidentally putting in the washer >.<
Also, as many pointed out, the AI takes WAY too long to take their turn.

Pretty fun, haven't played a game like this since advanced wars for gba. I found a bug in the level where you start at the bottom (second/third to last?) where you have to capture stuff to start. I got killed, but managed to preserve my battleships which the enemy couldn't reach then for some reason refused to train more units so I ended up winning. The AI thinking was a problem like most others have stated, I'm sure you didn't intend for me to be playing a second game waiting for this one to load... Also, am I the only one who refuses to capture a command center and just prefers mass carnage and annihilation...? Surely not.

Pff i had like 100 units in the end, and then it makes 20 invisible tanks?Like why dont i make a stand and use all of my battlecruisers and just fire on them because they are visible and i call first turn and that will take out half, then i could easily finish them off.

I love these games! I thought I'd played them to death when Urbansquall first released them, but I'm back for more after a long lay-off and I stumbled onto a mid-game bonus battle that I never played before - great stuff! :)

Yeah... this game seemed pretty cool and all, based off of strategy and a lot of forethought. Then I played level 9. Yeah no.

@Aswissrole - the AI is comparing every possible unit it could buy at that point to see which is the best option. From each factory it owns. It has to test all the possible combinations - so, if it has two factories, one of each control, and one factory is on water, it has to try around 200 possible combinations (remember that commando + tank is different from tank + commando - which factory matters!) or so. That only gets worse at higher factory (or factory-on-water) counts and more money available... and probably at higher difficulties, as it likely thinks harder about the choices.

Let me get this straight, my airplane can't go to it's destination because a submarine is blocking it's path? Not just a submarine, but a submerged submarine.

Finally! A game that reminds me of my old Panzer Generals CD packs! 5/5 even though the AI takes a long time to finish.

The description for "Field Training Badge" clearly states that the captured building can not be a command center. However, I was able to meet the building capture requirements by capturing a command center.

you finished your turn, now is the ai turn: you begin the president, you create the nuclear bomb with your hands, you married, you killed all people in the china, you create the vaccine to all diseases, and when you return to the computer, the AI didn't finished his turn

Hmm...a nice-looking copy of Advance Wars. Unintuitive interface and lack of manual are a minus. Enemy AI takes a coon's age to finish even simple maneuvers. Silly Halo fanboyism not a plus, either.

stupid spartan wouldnt capture the base so the enemy soldier who got to my base like 2 turns after my spartan got to their base captured it

Okay, since Battalion: Nemesis gets badge of the day, I propose that the developer of this game fix Battalion: Arena.
