characters too small to see them - a lot of crap on the field and no idea what it is - do I know what I am doing - NOT - where are the instructions with at least a bit of detail - sorry but 2/5 not impressed!

This game will not be at 4.0 after todays badge... definitely one of the worst badge of the day I seen. I wonder how you play or get a crate or anything?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I couldn't even open the crate as the supplies were destroyed by the Germans and that my soldiers couldn't get closer because they stopped for no reason.

This game kind of sucks. And by kind of I mean really. Might have been better if I knew what I was doing, but I'm not to fond of remote controlled explosives blowing up one of my guys in the first wave, especially since bullets didn't seem to be doing anything to it.

For those are having a hard time understanding this game, here's some things to get you started:
This is probably the most important, if you have over 6 soldiers/vehicles on the field at one time, the Germans will start shelling you with very deadly artillery and bombs, however, you can hire an engineer to let you build a "camo net" to get around this. Every soldier/vehicles under camo does not count towards being being bombed.
Your soldiers fire automatically at the closest enemy. Take advantage of this by putting your best soldiers behind weaker ones. As they get kills, they shoot faster and get more accurate.
Trees, rocks and palisades block line of sight, and soldiers cannot fire at what they can't see. Sandbags and trenches provide bullet protection, bunkers provide bullet protection and explosion immunity but make your soldiers fire slower.

Half baked interface (all mouse over text is on the top, hard to read soldier stats, etc.), and next to no instructions. Rushed out perhaps?

''Where is the tutorial'' ''This game is too hard for me'' --> All of you sound like mindless casual SCRUB typical Kongie gamers, jesus christ. Stick with flash games if your mindsets are forever like this. That's why people like you guys can never appreciate other games. Haha.

want to end the current run well you can under command decisions. Want to move your soldiers it only takes 2 clicks to move from point a to point b. your guys are not targeting the enemy well they have little to no field exp after a while they will learn to shoot the enemy. plus this game was the second or third game this guy made and he mad it 7 years ago so don't cry when there is a bug or everything is not up to todays standards. Also this game was not made for casual gamers. if you are too lazy to go to mudandblood.net/wiki or click the intel button to learn anything about the game then why are you even playing games to begin with?

"The game is meant to be unfair and brutal". That's just an excuse to make bad game design decisions or to excuse the fact bad game design decisions were made. Not being able to end the current run is one of those bad design decisions which cannot ever be put under "but it's supposed to be unfair and brutal". When the game is done "loading" it should go to the main menu, not sit there without telling the player anything which is, again, a bad game design decision and doesn't fall under "supposed to be unfair and brutal". Having to click multiple times to get a soldier to go someplace and the speed at which everything moves are a couple more issues the game has which aren't "unfair or brutal" just eternally grating on the player's patience. Parts of the game "might" be considered "unfair and/or brutal", but getting there isn't worth the time investment needed only to find out that none of the game is unfair or brutal at all.

Oh yeah, it's also nice for a change to have a game that offers instructions, but doesn't spoon-feed you every step of the way. It doesn't pat you on the back for just pressing a few keys. Means there's a learning curve. If it turns out there is method to the madness, that would work for me.

At first, confusing as h*ll. Started poking around, found some instructions under "intel" on the opening game screen. Also, there's a Wiki with all kinds of details (see the, ahem, Kong "instructions" tab). I guess medics heal if you stand close enough. Also, I think having 6+ men on the field causes the Germans to bring out all the really horrible stuff. Like the dark sense of humor. I think this game will grow on me.

Wow, really boring. Sounds effects are annoying and loud, and all the other complaints I read are totally right. 1/5, would not play again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To be honest that was just straight up bad. I placed all of my people at the front of the map so that they would die, but instead they fought off the enemy for 20 rounds.

Do you not even read the description this game is made to be unfair and brutal the developer's name is URB which stands for Unfair Random Brutality. if you don't understand the game go to mudandblood.net/wiki click mud and blood II and learn how to play then go to http://mudandblood.net/html/modules.php?name=Forums for help from people who actually play the game and love the concept of URB.

Terrain does not seem to make any difference, except to complicate the interface. I'd love to know if different equipment functions the way it should: If I put a sniper on top of a palliside, will he be more effective? What about inside a bush, will they be less likely to be hit?
I watched a gunner(guy with an automatic rifle) fire an entire clip/mag at an enemy from about 2 yards away... With every bullet landing in a perfect halo around him. I don't know the soldier's name, but if it was anything but Elmer Fudd, the game programmer failed.
Then a single infiltrator walked from the side of my defense, murdering every single guy (all of them had bayonettes) one by one from 100hp to zero.

skipping this badge of the day, because this stupid game, why this game even get badged? there's a lot more better game than this
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Probably one of the worst games, ive ever played on Kong. Got the badge tho, i had no idea what i was doing, bought some units, moved them to the middle left the game to make dinner, by the time i got back my game was over, kongpanion awarded. Now just need a -1 star to rate it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
how exactly do you finish the game, run up to the end or something? I picked up 4 crates and didn't get the badge after dying and a refresh :/
Some actual 'how to' would be amazing
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The enemy brings flak within a minute from the start. It explodes all my soldiers. Rush with french militia to the flak. They do not do anything to it. It is too unbalanced, other time you get a good start, but then everything explodes and sometimes everything explodes immediately as that time.

Gah. I played this game for what seemed like an hour before it ended, and got 94 kills. Grrr. Lowering my previous rating of 2 stars to 1 star because half the time personnel does not engage the enemy _at *all*_, even though the game says the targeting is automatic. Automatic? Automatic would have been the jeep and .50 cal letting loose on the 6 soldiers that just waltzed by it, or the freaking medics actually moving to help wounded comrades. This game is the pits.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For all complaining about no instructions, there is an intel button in the menu before you play that tells you how to play. Don't judge this game coz u couldn't find the intel button that tells you the insructions.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why did this game get a badge of the day? It is one of the most convoluted games I've ever seen. With no tutorial, how are players supposed to get an idea of what to do without blindly stumbling around or spending lots of time reading about what everything is? Terrible, terrible choice for a badge of the day.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game shows how messed up the rating system is. Showing a rating of 4.04 for a game which does not tell you what to do or how to do it. There clearly is something wrong when a 1 star game has a rating that high.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I won all three badges while playing another game. Either I am a genius or this game is bugged. On second thought being genius didn't change a damn thing so probably bugged.... or both :)

*finds crate* heck yea...2 mins later *opens crate* (message) you found a soldier in the crate! * 0_0 * (message) don't ask...

"We need a bombing run on the enemy position!" "You want me to bomb your position?" "No, the enemy position. They're overrunning our front line!" "Roger, bombing your front line."
