The comment that if you merge troops your morale is unaffected is false. It depends on your troops in the neighboorhood and enemy troops nearby.

I think there should be a couple of command centers, which work like ports except that they increase the number of armies you can move per turn. It does feel irritating when you lose the front line because you can't move your men out of the cities. Otherwise, great game.

How the landscape turns int a desert wastelend after fighting on makes me fell that the game is sublimaley sending an anti war measseage

good game, but the AI doesn't protect capitals nearly as much as they should... They also manoeuvre troops too much rather than capturing stuff which would increase their morale and be better on the long run. Overall it's a great game, but the AI could definitely be improved a bit.

i remember playing this and losing a lot but recently ive been winning cause this game is awsome and people who say it's stolen should burn

set the map to blank (no cities or water) All the AI went immediately for me. There wasn't one battle against each other. The non-free for all of this game just makes me frustrated.

Nice game. Good concept and simple. It would be great if you made a new version that had a campaign with specific scenarios and challenges.

@ Tytoalba11
It's right there on the side of the screen.....
Also, has anyone noticed that on maps where you're separated from the enemy by water that they will still launch invasions against you. What I mean is that say i'm red and that blue is on a different island with just green, blue will send send the bulk of their military to attack me even as green's pounding them. Seriously on so many separate occasions i've seen the comp lose because it went all out to reach me instead of defending themselves.

Tip: Capture the most land you can get. So you spawn more units at your capital. Like I had half the map and every turn I got a tank at the capital. Then next Tip is to capture the most cities you can get so every turn your cities produce armies. Also try the map nothing. Delete all the numbers in the map bar and change the map. The whole map had no water, cities, ports, only land. Hope this helps :D

I like to place my troops all around the enemy's capital so when they attack one of my troops, I can just send the others in and conquer them easily.

Calllack: I just did that in 24 turns. For some people better than me they probably can get to under 20.
Nice game btw, simple, challenging sometimes. I got really disappointed with the launch of Hex Empire 3 :\ I just wanted some more of Hex Empire 1.

Love the subtleties about war, like the beutiful lanscape getting charred after battles with the gravestones. Great game.

Ah, map 210519 on hard as blue reminds me of ww2. Blue (me) being Deutschland, signing a pact with Italy (green), green slowly being erased while I enjoy success, and the numbers finally take me down.

I tried the hex empire 3 demo, and it's kind of complicated, so I love this one more, the again, i like all hex empires!

@Roboduck Loosing in 9 turns is easier than winning in 9 turns. To loose you only have to loose your own capitol. To win you must capture all three enemy capitols. Even if one of the enemies have been beaten by another, when you capture the capitol of the victorious foe the one that had been defeated respawns.
