really good 4/5, only thing keeping from being a 5/5 is the lag between moving my mouse and the reaction of the game. I move mouse and .5-1.0 secs before ship moves

I'm a hipster-expert, and getting fully upgraded went a bit too fast compared to the amount of bosses I got left. I'm not gonna fight them because I now got a fully upgraded ship ready to jump. They can just conquer this part of the galaxy for all I care.

i think the magnet is too weak and can be changed. i also think there should be missles that split into tiny missle and sould have tiny helpers like tiny ships that help me in battle.

please include a low quality option, and a medium one. i rather be able to dodge all the bullets in full speed than be able to see them in all their glory but slow moving and easy to dodge. Otherwise, great game, control scheme, music, stress factor, upgrades and difficulty all fits together nicely.

i need to correct myself : its not unplayable , its unbearable . its a complete mess , the kind of game you don't have fun playing . having the option to upgrade your stuff don't make a game in itself , and in this game , by the middle of the game , all you do is grind to upgrade and hope to survive ... if anyone have a 100% luck skill maxed maybe you can make it trough this complete mess of colors

The game is definetley fun and it looks really nice.
The one thing it's missing: bullet hell games like this are supposed to be, well... at least somewhat difficult.
It's enjoyable, it looks really nice, but it's too easy.

Good game, but has some flaws, the wasd movement is pretty useless as you end up crashing in all the bullets, mouse controlled is better, but still you cant dodge anything. Not my case but probably for other people the way the ship blurs the screen might lagg them, how about a low quality option for them? Also as i said dodge problem, ship is way too big for that madness, smaller ship upgrade? Or some health regen one

love the game. would be nice to see some other upgrades, like ship hull, and varied type of weapons. Also might be cool to have a deflector shield, to throw those punches back at the enemy.

Mouse control has the same problem I've seen in other mouse shooters. Whenever the real cursor position leaves the game borders, the ship stops moving. Since the cursor is invisible in the game, it's impossible to predict, leading to lots of damaging pauses any time the ship strays too close to a border.

It's an okay game, but there are three problems. (1) Visbility is rather poor when the fighting gets hectic, and this is impacting gameplay. (2) It feels like the guns and magnet don't upgrade high enough. (3) The universal convention for pausing a game in progress is ESCAPE and/or P, not SPACEBAR. 3/5

lets have a moment of silence for the trillions of aliens killed by one measly human starship.................. LETS DO THAT AGAIN!!!

Nice little game. Graphics and control are all good. Too bad this doesnt take any skill to play: Money is plentiful, so you´re not really saving for upgrades, you just buy them; it´s impossible to actually dodge anything with so much on the screen, which again isn´t important, since you have so much life it doesnt really matter. 3/5

A very good game, just the right difficulty as a bullet hell game. I really enjoy it, but could you possibly add more "specials"? As in more then just that little shield. Other then that, it's amazing, though.

Great game and time killer just one small issue and that's the magnets. Even at Max you still need to be very close for it to "Suck In" the loot. Also once the loot is going towards the ship let it keep going towards the ship no matter where it's located on screen. Half the time loot that is already heading my way stops and continues south because I am out of range due to me being across the screen dodging bullets where the loot lies.

Overall a great game, but two complaints. 1: The way the ships explode leaving behind a blurred section of the screen makes it hard to tell where enemy shots are coming from, and makes the game alittle laggy. 2: The song gets repetitive.

Why have a limit on lives before a game over, when all that means is that you go to the main menu and lose no progress? Not that I think you should, but if not, then why not reset number of lives at the start of every level?

i'm assuming you chose the layers of images:
from highest to lowest
1 your ship
2 enemies and their bullets
3 treasure and your bullets
4 explosions
this way you can still see everything but you won't be blinded by them
assuming your point is that I _should_ have put the player-ship above everything else to increase it's visibility: I think you might be right, and in fact it is above _almost_ everything else. I wanted some of the smoke and explosions to go over it so it looked like you where 'immersed' in the action, but in retrospect that might have been a mistake.

Upgrades. I like upgrades, no question here. It's just that upgrades here make almost no sense. One upgrade for each direction, firing/movement speed, rockets, shields, all cool. But if you can max out all guns almost immediately, and it doesn't make much difference, it's as if there weren't any upgrades at all. Magnet maximum range is also too small. With bullet hell you often get stuck in one place, and often have no way out without hurting your ship due to lack of spread shot.

I can't get past level 8 for the life of me. Great game but very hard to distinguish yourself from th bullets coming at you and create a strategy to actually dodge them, alot of it ends up being luck. I would trade in the repulsor for a wide beam screen clearing weapon in a heart beat like in common bullet hell shooters. I also don't get the criteria for getting the shield and an extra life? It seems to just happen randomly and in those situations I get lucky and have been able to pass levels. Love love the game. Suggestions for next one, different special weapon, armor upgrades and different types of weapon options(scatter, beam lazer, you know what I mean) for more variety. I'm not gunna give up till I beat this

whoah i gotta stop playing this game it makes me partially lose consciousness- i just can't take anything in and lose all my peripheral vision. This makes me die in this game too. I think this means the game is too immersing.

Great game in terms of look and feel, but if you run your mouse outside of the flash movie area your ship will change directions and move fast in the wrong direction. I would suggest that if the mouse gets moved out of the play area the ship either stops moving or moves towards the spot the mouse disappeared not the top right corner.
I did think about something like that - I didn't do it 'cuz I've tried it in previous games and it's surprisingly hard to estimate exactly where the mouse pointer exited the window, (think about when you're moving the mouse really fast and so it jumps many pixels per-frame). I'm not saying it's impossible, but I havn't yet found a foolproof method....An alternative solution someone suggested would be just to add a border around the whole game...a third solution might be that adobe add flash-player support for windowed mouse-capture.....I'll try some/all of those solutions next time around.

fine game, but there is to much on the screen to really realize whats going on and if you managed to go through the masses of enemies the "boss" is just a piece of cake...

I wasnt sure if this was a sequel until i checked the name of the game i had previously played but awesome sequel alot harder then orginal only thing would be nice if you could get a armor upgrade thank you Vibe13 5/5

I'd suggest allowing the special, be it anything, to be fired by pressing space which allows you to play comfortably one-handed when using WASD-controls, rather than being forced to keep your thumb under your hand or using both hands.
I can understand your point of view however for me the desire to do the pixel-fx was the inspirational starting point for the whole project, (and I've only just got started on that front I've got plans for a lot more pixel-fx building on my existing codebase)....the thing is I _could_ have made a 'functional' shooter with minimal fx (and that's definitely something I'd like to do someday), however it's just not what I wanted to do right now 'cuz I feel that approach is currently very well catered for in lots of other flash-shooters.
I realise that I need to work on ways to increase player/enemy-visibility, but I get the impression from the feedback I've received that a lot of people do appreciate the anarchic visuals....you know in the final analysis _all_ fx are 'unneccessary', we just put in the ones we (subjectively) think will look 'right'.

An amazing game. The controls (I used mouse) are great. The defensive/offensive radial power is a fun way to wipe out clusters of enemies and a great saver if I get surrounded. Near the end of the game it becomes mandatory to use it every few seconds. And of course everyone likes buying upgrades. But I had bought every item by level 10.
I really like the high level of difficulty, but between ship bullets, dead ships warping in and out, my bullets and money that I am trying to collect it can become impossible to see what is going on. I would have to use a

Fun game, was gd. But like other people say, when you want to focus on making the game challenging, chill teh f_ck down with the graphical fx, cowboy! Even though they are nice :)
4/5

I really enjoyed it, but I'm quite annoyed that it sets everything back to 0 (including medals) once you've beaten the game. Yes it's registered my highscore, but if this game gets badges and there's one for completing the game, I now have no way to prove that I've done so. I really don't want to go through all that again anytime soon. I hope that there's something not immediately obvious that is keeping track...

Loved the 1st one - Love this one - More upgrades for V3 please (there will be a v3 wont there? Please!). Must kill more aliens.
there will definitely be a v3 at some point, but not for a little while 'cuz it took a lot out of me making this one and I need to do something different for a while just to recharge my enthusiasm.

As long as you don't approach this as if it were a bullet hell, it is a great game. It did irritate me that my ship was larger than one pixel, but I got used to it.

Great game... Made me sweat as hell. Gosh, if it weren't for that shield power up, I would be dead as hell. In the later levels the thing that cuts my breath is to find another shield before the one I have ends.

It's quite a fun timekiller, however I think it would be nice if there was a recharge meter for the repulser. Also a few moar upgrades couldn't hurt, I've bought all of them and still have three levels to go.
