Although i hate this game, they have done nothing illegal.
Angry birds and Crush the Castle, like this game, fit into a genre.
Also in Angry Birds, you fire birds at pigs. In Angry Animals, you are firing barn yard animals at aliens.
However, the yellow bird from Angry birds, and the chicken in this game, have very similar a shape and colour, and the same can be said for the pig.
But other than that, this game hasn't done anything too bad... unfortunately

this is a bad copy of a good and more succesfull copy of an already good flash game.
crush the castle -> angry birds -> this thing
also, altemous they did not create this. the people who made this are rovio. on town den's game site are also other games that are on kongregate that are by other developers. they just host these games, but have nothing to do with creating them. and if you are still not convinced go to angry birds on wikipedia and try to find a mention of town den.
unholybunnyman, this is indeed bad, but i bet you couldn't make a better game if you really tried and had 10 years.

Cute comments about the creator ripping off Angry Birds, but if anyone took 2 seconds to visit the Home Website, they would realize that they advertise Angry Birds as one of their main games as well. "Angry Lawyers" is a hard concept considering that they'd likely be suing themselves.

The fact that this was in the "Hot New Games" section is seriously depressing, it's making me question to the future of flash games altogether, but then I remember that there are companies out there that actually use their brains to come up with original and ingenious game concepts, not just steal from one of the most popular games ever made.

Has anybody thought of giving the developer some form of constructive criticism as to how to make a more original game - instead of just saying "ripoff of angry birds/crush the castle 1/5"?

I wouldn't mind this knockoff half as much if only a) the controls felt even close to the original, b) the game didn't seem to lag so much ("Great, I won! Aw crap. Now I get to wait 10 seconds for my score."), and c) if it could do something as kind as letting us see any decent quantity of the level all at once.

hahaha... pretti entertaining sounds. never realli liked the acutal game itself... but playing this.. cuz... the sounds and exploding is funny XD

What annoys me most about this is that there's a 2 in the title. Apparently there's another ripoff just like this that came before it?

Shameless Angry Birds Rip-Off. It can't even hide behind the idea that it's just the same genre, this is literally a re-skin.

I will never understand why so many game makers take the time to program knockoff games instead of thinking up and making new types of games.

Well, apparently not only is the developer bad at making games, but clearly they also fail at simply copying others' work. When you can't even properly steal work from other people you've reached a level of failure that many individuals will likely never even witness let alone experience personally...

Usually when people make a rip-off of one of the most popular games in history, they change both of the words in the name, not just one.

graphics: bad
gameplay: bad
sound: bad
verdict: i could of made a better game (and more original) using only my arse on the keyboard.

I've played one level... That's it. That's enough. The whole ''keep doing a level until you get 3 stars'' aspect in ANY game, I feel, should be illegal. This is such a blatant code rip that it actually makes me quite irritated.

The launcher genre was old before Angry Birds came along, and it's still old after Angry Birds. This doesn't do much to innovate, either.

Really, I have to say this game is a breath of fresh air. Here on Kongregate, we see knock-offs so often that we don't fully appreciate original work when it comes around. You could have just copied some already successful game, but no.. Then your integrity wouldn't have shone through! Maybe you could call the sequel "Angry Lawyers".

I really wanted to enjoy Angry Animals 2. Unfortunately, the amount of bugs and increased health of the aliens; made for an un-enjoyable experience for those who like to collect three stars on each level. I wasn't able to complete the entire game of Angry Animals 2, mainly because after examining the 9th level -- each one was more buggy; and unplayable. It's unfortunate that despite almost being a fun title, it's got to much bad that overweighs the good. I gave your game a 3.5 out of 5, VladUA.
