This game was a lot of fun. In certain respects it reminded me of Zelda: Link to the Past. I didn't think it was hard enough, though. The maps were almost always really easy to reach, and even though I died several times on some levels, the difficulty grading wasn't consistent. At least one of the later levels was a piece of cake, even though I'd died a bunch in the previous level. Also, the bosses were way to easy. All in all, though, a great game. Hope you make more like this.

Every once in a while you see a game, and before clicking on it you just have a gut feeling it's a 5/5. I have a feeling this is one of those games.

What does the last diary page say? I accidentally saved the cheerleader and ended the game before getting to read it :(

That pile of crap scared the crap out of me... and then it didn't do anything. I could've sworn it was gonna kill me.

Probably the most under-rated game on Kongregate (and I have played most of them), easily deserves a 4.2 average. Rated it 5 to help boost it to what it deserves.

cool game. not cool: not beeing able to restart a level or at least save at some points. i accidentally ran into a level where mother slug lives, without any kind of weapon. great stuff oÔ

Occasionally you run across a gem of a game that doesn't presume to be any more than what it is and excels in that way. This game is that gem for me today.
Well done, sir.

@VortixGames Yeah, thanks. Just me, then. Kudos for a great game. I really do like it, and gave it a 5/5 for a job well done. Keep at it!

Excellent music and atmospheric sounds, quite nice one, old school but fine. a sequel less linear and with more degrees of freedom in gameplay would be great. 4/5
