Just in case anyone cares, im pretty sure the original story was the greedy king asked a sorceror or alchemist to make everything he touched to become gold, but when he touched his daughter, she became a lifeless gold statue. The cure was a cleansing water, which stopped him from turning everything he touched into gold and changing back everything which he touched when enchanted.

Good game not familiar with the girl only recall how Midas was apparently very stupid and forced to bath in the river to be rid of the power.

Great game, great concept. This is a real treat, even if you stink at puzzlers like me. Learned about Pactolus; I never knew. Thanks for encouraging me to brush up on my Midas lore.

OK, for 72 hours, its clever and shows up many other flash games, but the level design is terrible. Its either ridiculously hard or far too easy, and If I were to come back and play this again, Id want more of a sustained challenge. Dont get me wrong, its good, but needs more to make me want to play it again

Nice simple game :) For people asking if the credit level is possible, I doubt it, since it's impossible to make the jump even if the girl wasn't already gold. Also, ESC brings up level select.

Incredible game. Short. Just the right amount of skill needed, and just the right amount of thought needed. Not to mention, I loves me a reference to Greek mythology.

to play again, on the final level (the impossible one) go on the water. Then right click and hit play. Double click on level one. You're welcome
