why press arrow keys to center? use arrow keys to move and space to center would be better. and make the centering more smooth, which the camera moves to your plane but not teleports.

VERY good game. Only suggestion is the same as everyone else (add upgrades & more levels) HOWEVER I think you should keep this one and make a sequel rather than updating the game (I'm pretty sure you could if you wanted). Hoping to see a sequel with upgrades and more (harder because of the upgrades) levels ツ.

i drove my plane off the edge of the world! wtf... i'd thought they'd turn away involuntarily or just pop out the other side or something. but first the control button was outside of the canvas, then the plane vanished altogether o_0

It would be cool if you could choose what plane had what abilities, would make a lot of the starting formations more effective and easier to handle. It also kinda sucks that you don't know the enemies attack ranges/directions are, set my boys up to hit a Leviathan from all sides and they got nailed XD

1) The AI is very bad at predicting your movements. Moving in a straight line or a sharp turn always seems to trip them up. 2) The AI does not understand the dangers of the gas. Don't be afraid to drop it in an "obvious" place; the AI will ignore it and dive right where they were planning to go anyway. 3) There are 60 total stars to earn, so don't be afraid to take a 1 star mission. Personally, I found 1946 to be much harder then the next few levels.

I think it should be made clear somewhere that this is a fictional version of history. A cinematic introduction presenting these steampunk inventions would be great, but at least adjust the game description. I'm just a little worried that some people may take it as actual history, especially dates and events taking place during both the world wars.

I am a red-white-and-blue American, I love my country, I am a patriot, but I am sick and tired of the endless villianizing of Germany. Yes, we know the history but would it be so impossible to let players play both sides, if you must insist on constantly harping on the world wars? They are details of history that are irrelevant to life in the 21st century yet we have some kind of cultural fixation on it and I am tired of it. Actually I like this game a lot other than the theme, incidentally.

Why are some of them green, some blue, and some black? I assumed this meant they were on different teams, but I've never seen them attack each other.

Wow, look at the number of 'plane's in my comment :P
If you didn't get what I said, just use one as bait and let the other one do the shooting simultaneously.

For 1939, you have to use the special boost of one plane to shake off the plane following it and then chase the plane following the other plane with the 180 turn ability. You must look after the slow plane, changing direction at every turn to confuse the enemy. After that one's down, use the slower plane to take down the enemy plane chasing far behind the fast plane. This is how I did it.

on the missions with the enemies trailing damaging smoke... it won't let you turn to avoid the smoke after shooting the enemy down. I WON and if allowed to maneuver would have had zero damage because all i needed to do was reduce speed... Let us make turns or maneuver in the turn where the last enemy is crashing. Game fail issue.

There is a problem with the game that if you try to make certain maneuvers, that if the arrow goes off screen you can't readjust, even if you could make it move into the screen.

Most maps with the gas ability is very easy, just fly away in a straight line (sometimes going up and down so you dont get shot for 4*) and enemy planes just fly right in the gas...

A good strategy/tactics game, although considering the 2-dimensional field and the slow pace (with as much time as one wants in between each few seconds of battle) it might have made more sense to make it ships instead of planes. Also, I agree with other comments that upgrades would be nice. Even if you don't get to upgrade the plane yourself, still it would be good to upgrade from one war to the next: biplanes to Spitfires to jet planes, with maybe something like X-wing fighters for the last battle.
