Love this game, and I really like the idea of a new one everyday, but I would like it even more if there were different difficulties each day, easy, medium, and hard for example.

@kaiwoklaw you do realize you can connect to all totems but just disable green packets right? and the way you're doing it is fun and enjoyable but read An00bis's comment from the best section, but to try to answer your question, any map that is completed in under 4-5 minutes would take about 5 minutes to kill all creeper generation as if you can finish that fast means the totems are relatively close to you and you'd still have some ways to the generators for the rest from my tests it's mission completion time +3-4 minutes on MOST cases NOT ALL

I know of the x2 speed which is good for general game play but I find building a 10+ stucture base at the start normally works as a goods stratagy (2x Mortors 2x reactors and then some node) this can take 3+ minute and could do with a bit of a speed boost.)

sure it won't be developed further but could use a x4 speed for the start - maybe disabled once the first shot is fired. Its often a long wait before the starter base is complete.

@spineguy I'm pretty sure this version is very supseptible to leaderbord manipulation so implementing something like that would be a hude effort when they are working on newer versions of the game already

I like trying to beat the creeper all the way back to a blaster on each generator. I would like to know peoples times for that mode of gameplay.

how about a daily ranking based on time to complete that provides a scre to see where one stacks up in the overll creeper world, ayb with weekly and monthly average scores?

11:38 for 7th Sept, wish there were more like that. Always useful to go out of your way to grab a couple of extra upgrades, even if it slows down your start a bit.

@niculapetre How'd your speed run go today? :) I keep 15min as my rule too...I think that's the 8000+ point mark which is my goal for each map. I just can't seem to get it done today....

@AaronB57 I used to do that until I made speed runs my goal ... we all know it's easy to gill all the creeper points ... the challance is how fast you can activate totems ... my rule of thumb is that if you're going past 15 min on any map you're doing something wrong( also some fast times include 3 minutes for a map) kep that in mind next time you're playing :)

I've never had so much fun playing these games, it's so anticipating crazy waiting for the next day to arrive for the next mission. I wish there was a way to play earlier missions so I can keep playing. I just love the diverse challenges given to overcome each mission.

Cool Idea: hold shift down to constrain building to attach to your grid. AKA, as close to your pointer as possible yet still connected to the closest part of your grid. That way you can run a line of collectors much quicker without sometimes missing and having to delete and rebuild.

today's mission is one of those rare levels where you can beat the level wtihout firing a shot. Just move the city to the middle of the totems and build collectors to the totems. :D

@lbtb: a more in-depth tutorial is available in the form of "creeper world training sim". It runs on an outdated version of the creeper world 1 game engine, but it covers the core features pretty well.

August 30th mission was by far the easiest I've ever done. Didn't even create one defensive unit. Just a small collection of collectors and left after about a minute. But still love the daily games!

I have no idea what is going on in this game but it's still fun to me! I think the trial and error part when your new to this game is just as interesting as if your a pro and strategizing!

I wish we could see the aftermath where the creeper swallows the whole map again, just to see how long our design lasts with what little energy the blasters had built up. It would be a great feature to be added in, but otherwise 5/5 great game and addition to the series.

as for survival mode...usually four to six blasters per emitter will keep it at bay depending if you can set them close enough due to land formations ( after starting normal and switching over when set up )...starting on survival is a very quick game indeed...lol

Okay, so this is the first game I've 'favorited' the game is awesome, and the premise very cool....looking forward to the third installment and maybe more of the second style as well...just wanted to add, felt like a bit of a zippy when playing for a few weeks, I all of a sudden realized that building your collectors by numbers has no increase of collection rate, it's the area that turns green that matters...wow, has it made the game so much easier...lol ( I was building one right next to another and slowly growing outward ) not sure if it explained it in the rules, but...I'm a gamer, so ...instructions?...yeah right...

I did it Rain_King, Aug 22 without moving the base. You have to time it just right to build 2 guns on the north side of the hill just south of the base, one on the east and one on he west. Keep growing your energy capacity and then you'll need to build 2 more guns, one on the little hil NW of the base and one on the ground level to the east of the base. Build a mortar on the hill shortly afterwards and you should be set.

yikes ... no kidding about that Survival Mode ... twice as much creeper mass as land mass = not a bright future for the citizens of Odin City

oh, ad august 22's map isn't brutal...there's only ONE event you need to time well, and that's the building and deployement of your first blaster. once that's done, you have plenty of wiggle room-provided you move the city to the landing site on the right.

sorry, zeke, but minecraft creepers share only one trate with the blue goop of creeper world: both are destructive. blue goop is corrosive, green pig is explosive.

Tip: In survival mode, just move your base onto a creeper pool, then before it lands make it move somewhere else. You will never loose as long as you keep repeating this.
