4:47. That's about as good as I think it can get with my strategy (maybe a couple of seconds better -- I had the power to add a speed node near the end but didn't). Anyone?

@ Astynax - Any specific questions? I am sure lots of people are willing to help. Also, this is actually a free Expansion for those who have completed the game and want more maps. If you are new, start with the "Creeper World Training Sim", that is likely to answer any question you have :)

@Walr688: Move to one of the most left corners of the high land. Then build a turret on the highest ground as fast as you can. Make sure your turret (and succesive mortar) have enough power to keep the creeper at bay on the high land.

my top in survival was 1 hour 55 min (115 min). With the right circumstances (with map being perfect for survival) 120 minutes is certainly possible.

Love it when I can get some SAMs close enough to the edge of the map that you hear the missiles launching before you hear the sirens :D

Anyone ever go 120 minutes on Survival mode? I got 111 minutes on the Feb 21 board (learned a lot, think 120 is possible). Does it end in "victory", or just keep going until you die?

Today's was a nice return to a tougher grind level. The third totem is basically right on top of the wall of emitters.

It's wierd, some days the map is really difficult, featuring totems that are right on top of the spawners. Other days, though, you can just bum-rush the map.

Maybe I'm just getting better, but it seems like the maps in the past week or so have been extremely easy. I've been consistently beating them in about 5 minutes, but I also don't "rush" for the nodes, that's just playing naturally.

I hate the fact that waiting in anticipation for the daily map ends in abrupt dissapointment when I finish the mission in 1:36...oh well, there's always tomorrow.

When it comes to the energy cap, I suggest that people use the terms that are present in game in order to avoid confusion. Collectors and reactors increase energy collection, the small green bar, while building things or powering weapons increase energy depletion, the yellow bar. Energy collection isn't capped at all, it is simply the sum of your collectors and reactors (so in a sense, it is capped by the space available). Energy depletion is capped, in two separate ways. Firstly, it's capped by your energy collection. You can't deplete more energy than you collect. Secondly, there is a fixed maximum energy depletion cap, which doesn't depend on collection at all. If you have no storage units, the cap is 21, if you have at least one storage unit, the cap is 32. So even if your energy collection is 100, you can still only use a maximum of 32 energy at once.

@Nemtoffer: If energy is capped at 32, is that you can't generate more or that no matter what the energy number says, it will be no higher than 32? The reason I ask is because my energy output is currently 45 and rising. Before I build a lot of reactors which are there for show only...

one thing that I love about this game is "unlimited" resources. excluding upgrades, there isn't any material on the map that says 1000 resources left and when that runs out I lose. as you can have potentially infinite amount of energy, I'm glad that that there isn't any limit stopping me.

@NaturalReject. Glad you posted that for Feb 12. I did it in 3:30 and didn't give it another thought... saw your post and re-did it in 1:16. This is why I wish Evermore posted best times for the daily's (at least the non-cheat times).

2 things. If drones could remember their prior target and continue to hit that, it would be sweet. Also, if Collectors would show what area they will cover before they are built, (so you know where to build other ones), that would be helpful to.
