I played through the Creeper World Training Sim, and it makes this game a lot easier to understand and enjoy. It is another, separate game on Kongregate.

Lol. Played for 15 minutes... got bored, went out for lunch. 1 hour later, I came back to see that I won with the score: A Valiant Stand.

One tip I haven't seen is to start each game off by moving your city to a high elevation if it starts off at a low elevation. Then just follow everyone else's tips and people should find this game much easier.

@M0zebra It's not that bad - you need energy. Start with a few collectors, and reactors. Gotta be fast to get the initial energy. A single blaster will protect you from a thin flood (all you need to worry about for now). Build out, make sure you're protected by SAMs, focus on energy production for ages - you need lots. Mortars destroy a ton of creeper in both depth and AOE - but they need lots of power to work. Takes a bit to get the hang of, but it's worth it.

Tutorial didn't teach me enough. I eventually learned but the biggest thing that helped me win was that YOU CAN MOVE ATTACK BUILDINGS. JUST BUILD 3 BLASTERS AND MORTARS AND MOVE THEM INTO CREEPER.

Tidbit99. I use Safari on my Mac and the game plays "normally". It is less colorful than other versions, but Evermore gives you a new map every day. While some days are easy (times under 2 minutes), other days can take me up to 15 minutes. Many of the regulars rarely take over 10 minutes. MAIN IDEA: Don't build a lot at the beginning. If your ENERGY goes from a surplus (green) to a deficit (red), you are building too much. Try to keep your energy creation so that you have neither a surplus or a deficit. Usually start out by building collectors on high ground, and grab an upgrade or 2 if you can. If your energy is in a big deficit, your weapons will only fire once in a while. Keep your energy creation going so that your weapons won't starve. I hope that helps. Many of us have been playing this version for a few years.

I've played earlier versions of creeper and this is nothing like those. It SUCKS! The creeper spreads over the map in like 30 seconds, there is NO time to build and after playing and failing every single time(WTF!). Are there easier maps? is my mac/safari/flash player just not working???
Why don't my blasters do shit?! 1-4 blasters and they run out of ammo, OMFG! I don't see how anybody is even playing this. If you are winning then let me know what five structures you build first and in what order cause I don't see a way forward on any of the missions. . . and then the advice in the game is to "move fast and try to choke off whole breeders?!?!?

Why does it automatically switch to survival mode after the hour mark? What's the purpose in that? Here I am about to beat the level and then BAM! Creeper flood. WTF?

The game makes absolutely no sense. I've tried playing for the last 20 minutes and I still haven't killed anything or gotten anything accomplished. The blue stuff grows too fast and eliminates everything I build. Nothing happens.

Would be nice if it even gave a difficulty rating for each one, as its been years since i last played CW game and can't remember how to even start the build order without getting overun within 10 seconds

If you are here for the BotD, go for Saturday's map - today's is hard for someone just starting out. For Saturday, if you can get a mortar within firing range of the big pit in the upper-right the game is yours

Seriously, a badge of the day for a level pack that doesn't really have an help for new players because they expected you to have already played the previous games? Took an hour to get the badge, and I only got it because I found out I can move my base of the island that fit only 3 weapons and not enough stuff to power them (meaning I can't get off the island) to a larger island where I just sat for an hour with weapons until the survival mode (again, no explanation whatsoever) kicked in and killed me off. Thankfully during that hour I spent not even playing the game since I had better stuff to do, I managed to kill enough stuff.

why would Kong make this 10,000 kills as a badge of he day, considering many people have never played this before?I've seen so many badges of the day that takes 3 minutes to get. Guess I'm waiting until tomorrow

long easy badge... you don't need to win for it.. but you have to last till the end even if you loose to keep the kills...

The reason it seems hard is that it's basically a level pack... not designed for beginners. The idea is that people will play Creeper World Training Sim first, then this - not great for a BoTD, unless you can pick up the gameplay quickly. But don't blame the dev and give poor ratings for that... not his or the game's fault.

played tutorial multiple times and played both the same and multiple levels multiple times. I can not figure out how not to lose miserably 1/5

For the wednesday map move to the highest ground that has most area in map and 2 upgraders build 4 collectors int he cardinal directions and 2 reactors in between each of those build a few relays to where you cna reach all over your platform and then use 3 of the blasters in each of the parts to use group methods to take out creeper steadily so you can get the badge of the day really easy. hope you all like my suggestion using this method i steadily creeped over whole map like a creeper and subjugated them before i left only took me 38 minutes and i just gave you all my start not my whole process develop your own method off of my start to see how well you do

completed two levels and replayed the first level three times, creeper killed total still at 8,587. Badge broken or or does that need to be done on a single run on a level, only highest counts or what? daily badges shouldn't take this long to acquire.

The tutorial was bad, practically useless. BUT, once you figure out what's going on and how to play, it's a LOT of fun.
