If I told you guys everything, you'd have no more discoveries to make. When you get to the point that seeing someone's time tells you what they must have done and you still can't always get it, that's where I am with hawk45's times. Plus, I still suck at the longer puzzles compared to the "regulars". Glad the tutorial sheet helped. It took about an hour to make.

Many thanks chilese for that 2:00 tutorial. I thought I knew some little tricks but that uncharged SAM thing is amazing. I will add that for your tutorial, you could also add the step of switching off the Red Node, so that players won't have to watch the SAM like a hawk and Deactivate it at just the right time...
(a step you also left out, though the screenshot shows the red crossout on it so you can tell it's deactivated). I could only get it to 2:09 that way so I still have some adjustments to hammer out, like not trying to build the first three collectors simultaneously...

Thanks for the responses. I can't believe that I've been playing creeper world for years and I never knew you could move Odin City or turn off any of the energy nodes on Odin City. I guess I never experimented with the game too much. No wonder I can't really do any maps in less than 7 min!

6/19 - 2:28 Sorry about not posting screenshots for the last couple weeks. I've been pretty busy...

@blabbity 1: I have just posted a tutorial screenshot with instructions for the June 17th puzzle. hawk45 led the way with a blistering 1:57 saying that he used an uncharged SAM and Odin City in the creeper. Using his directions, I made this tutorial at 2:00 minutes. Let me know if this tutorial was helpful. Here is the link: https://picasaweb.google.com/chilesej/Artwork#6026803878155074610

@blabbity1: Good suggestion. Many of us do post screenshots. If you click on the link next to MOST RECENT (see all), you will see a long string of recent posts. A few of them do have links as you suggested. I believe UgAhgItHurts posted this link -> http://i.imgur.com/anYywLI.jpg

Some of these creeper world experts need to post some screenshots. Firstly, because they could just be lying, and secondly, so that the rest of us can learn from the best.

@funkytown69 Thank you for your vote of confidence. I actually did use 1 mortar and 2 blasters, but accidentally typed drone for my 3:51. I post my times as an indicator, not a claim to be the best. As stated before, the longer the puzzle, the worse I seem to do compared to the "regulars". I will give it a few more shots in an attempt to approach your excellent time. Well done.

Creeper World is not for the faint of heart. We take our Easy Badges the old-fashioned way, we earn it. ;-) (I hated the game the first few times I played it too. And that was years ago. Hope you decide to stick around.)

After 2 times through the tutorial I still don't know how to play. I lost the daily mission after 7 minutes and only killed 173 creeper... 10,000 for easy badge?! Uhhhhhhhhh thanks but no thanks hardest easy badge EVER!

@hawk45 Thanks for showing us how it should be done. It looks so obvious once you point it out. I got 2:00 after seeing your score.

6/17 -2:32 Same setup as before. I just staggered the build so that all collectors were done before starting the relays.

14th: I got 4:30 playing it fairly straight. Suppose can hybridize to get it down to 3 or 3:30, only rough part is lack of places to park the city. 15th: I got 6:20 grabbing a tech fast then taking top center and building. I had more weaps than I needed, so faster isn't hard, I'd like to know if anyone can crack that one in 5. 16th looks pretty ugly, I'll have to play it out later.

6/14 - 4:09 Grab 1 upgrade for 10% energy, build 2 blasters to full power, move both blasters and Odin City to high East emitter. As soon as emitter is capped, deactivate 1 blaster and use the other to keep the emitter capped and shoot some of the Southern creeper. Build collectors North picking up a 2nd upgrade. Then build to the other 2 totems. When power is at a surplus, turn on green node to activate the totems. I am anxious to see other approaches.

6/13 - 1:23 Using 6 collectors and 1 move of Odin City. @hawk45 Even with the unpowered SAM technique on 6/12, I can't get my time down near yours. Well done to you and Nuublarking.

as i look at my map with 50 drones and some 100 reactors i wonder who could stop me. as i got farther along creating destroying and asimalating i realized that these creapers are not strong nor are they powerefull they just come in sizes so big that they will destroy all those not prepared

6/12 - 1:48 Using 1 SAM. I attempted at least a dozen tries without using the SAM. I could connect the Northern totem with the flying Odin City, but was never able to hover Odin City left/right quickly enough to get down to those 2 scores under 100 seconds. Well done. Your reflexes must be incredible.

Creeper World is the best of its kind of game. The play is freeform and ever changing and yet inexorably strict in its behavior. Evermore provides a nice assortment of difficult levels.

9th is a proper hard map, yeesh. Attacked the left side, probably shouldn't have bothered with the big loop: http://i.imgur.com/anYywLI.jpg

@tonyjones24 First, I "liked" your solar laser post. I have never "liked" my own comments (well, maybe once). In general, I like comments by hawk45 (he rules), aronbon, UgAhgIt Hurts, jimmygamer, a few others and iMiPi when he use to play. I even liked dalittleman001's comment as he made me laugh. The intent of my posts and pictures is to improve others' games and my own. In fact, just got 6/6 down to 7:32 after reading aronbon's post. I'll take a few days off from posting as I seem to be upsetting you youngsters (I'm 64). There are very few games which hold my interest over time, this is one of them. I did work at Aristocrat designing casino games and have come to appreciate the designer's intent. Again, I do NOT "like" my own posts, but a few out there do. You kids have fun without me now.

@dalittleman001: I live in Las Vegas on the main floor. Sadly, my parents are no longer with us. Have I been posting too much or did you infer my living conditions based on my photo? Let me know what I can do to make you think I am normal. It's important to me to make you happy.
