I sure wasn't on that high score list for long, just up late catching up on maps I hadn't played yet, and that high score was actually on the map from the day before. I don't see how it's even possible for people to have gotten so close to 10k. What, they finished in about a minute? Or was there just one easy peasy map years ago? :op

Something like 6 mortars and 6 reactors. Should have done 9 reactors and 3 mortars or maybe 1 drone, 2 mortars and 9 reactors. It quickly opens the next plateau level for more building. My deficit was enormous.

@kennycjr - interesting, i also do have a score on that list... but i did not play 12/10 and 12/11 yet... so, they take any map played today.

Well at 40 minutes, that top plateau is the only dry land left. I finished in just under 49 minutes without any hurry. 1 Blaster and several Mortars. Did run up a -150 deficit when I turned on the Mortars. That was unusual. Thanks iMiPi.

OCEAN CHALLENGE 12/9 for those who love to kill a LOT of creeper, and who want time pressure... RULES: DON'T FIRE at the creeper until 40 minutes into the game (double speed until then so you only need to wait 20). Every weapon you build until 40 minutes has to be landed on dry land at 40 minutes (drones too). If you want additional difficulty, do not collect any upgrades until your first attack. Dang, and here I thought I was doing good to have gotten today's done in 6:03, on my second attempt. Took me just a bit longer the first time, just couldn't resist breaking the 9k score barrier. Got 9083 which currently puts me at #28 for today. Strange that K didn't alert me that I had earned a high score.

12/8 - 1:38 I should just take hawk45's score and randomly add from 2 to 5 seconds on these short puzzles to see what my score would be.

@chilese: MTloser is not blocked yet from the comments and his profile is still visible, so i guess they just told him to be a nice guy. but maybe they will monitor him and take action when he keeps trolling. i didn't get a message about him. neither about his other account.

@MrInitialMan: The game is designed so that any level can be completed in well under 1 hour once you understand the game. Have you played any of the previous versions or the tutorial? If you go through the tutorial and/or ask questions here, you will gradually get better to the point that any level can be completed in under 15 minutes. If you are attempting to cap all 5 emitters and eliminate all blue creeper, that can take much longer. Some people play that way, others play to connect the 3 totems in the least amount of time. Some play to see how long they can last in survival mode once they have set up their defenses. Welcome to the game.

Survival mode is INFURIATING! There should be an option to turn it off! I don't want to go into survival mode, I want to complete the %$%$^ level!

And here's a game to play; whenever you see a troll post, instead of giving them feedback, find someone else nearby and give them a positive response (like upvotes, or a nice comment). And don't even say if it was because of the troll, or just you deciding to be nice; leave them guessing.

The troll, like the overly-attached girlfriend*, simply cannot stand for anything in your life to be more important than her. As a result, you win every time you ignore her pleas for attention.

Nearing the end of a mission, I look at the way I have networked my collectors across the map, and how I have inched my way from one edge to the other, covering everything in my wake, destroying the creeper in my way, and I realise, the creeper and I, we aren't so different
