Although I have the same number of collectors, my upper 2 are more near the edge so that I could land Odin City in the creeper at the top. Perhaps your slightly additional green area and higher skill allowed a 4 second improvement on my time. Well done.

9/18 I predict hawk45 will get a 1:41 while I am unable to beat the creeper that takes out my chain at 1:43, about 2 seconds before I would otherwise finish. Oh, and tomorrow is my birthday. I'll be 66.

I tried without Reactors though, which made it tougher. With Reactors it should be more doable yes. :) But since a lot of maps are undoable without Reactors (or CRAZY energy pushes), I enjoy going without whenever I can. :)

22:27 on 9/11 with mortars. Just build more power before you go all-out on mortars. I had 19 power, 200 reserves and around 24 mortars.

Mortar-challenge: Managed 9/11 in 27 minutes and 1 second. A bit bummed about that second. :) Was a tough map, requiring two floaters on the right side most of the time to make headway in the valley. I ended with 12 active Mortars and 12.6 energy, but also >50 in the red from attrition.

@OldFern: you actively have to turn it on, by pressing the small button on the bottom below the "play more" button. The default setting is not survival mode, but standard mode. If you need more time, just use the [||] (pause) button that is to the left of the options button.

i spent 40 minutes just building and covering every thing w/ reactors and "containing" the creeper shooting at the source areas so no creeper remained

You are proof that this is a brilliant game. Not only are there many decisions, the goal can be reached under dozens of different self-imposed restrictions. In addition, the goal can be played to never be reached, just play as long as possible.

Got out of the red and cleared enough of the hill to sneak west and finish in 33:39 on 9/7. Really nice challenge. :)

Today is a real struggle with Mortars-only. I'm at 31:30 right now and struggling for the last bit on the left. At 8.5 production I'm constantly in the red with 8 active and 1 juggling to the far-SW corner to help keep the Creeper back, I'm slowly conquering part of the SW hill.
