i'd already locked all the emitters and was covering the entire map with reactors/storage when all of a sudden when the timer hit the 1 hour mark.. "Survival mode".. ZOMGWTFBBQHALP!!!!! instant defeat.... only had 2 blasters at each emitter.... >_>

To all of those who cannot be bothered to do a little searching: This game is an expansion to previous versions of the FLASH version of the game. The full game, including story, numerous missions, and more must be purchased. It may be 2 years old, but I still recommend it.

I'm not ashamed to say, when CW 1 came out it ate up my life for weeks. It was among the best games I've ever played. Now I get a little reminder, a tiny poke, that says "this game exists, and a third one is coming out". I find my words lacking to describe my happiness. Thank you for making these, and the music gets stuck in my head for weeks after I hear it (that's a good thing!)

hmm... an Hour and a half later, my giant setup falls apart by the masses of the creeper. my last stand ended and with over eight hundred thousand dead and many comrades lost, I will miss.

Howdy iMiPi! I didn't do the Aug 7 challenge more than once, and don't think my time was sub-10... Probably around 13, I didn't get a screenshot, and my "regular' play time of course is all I can see now. I may try again. My 2nd beat on Aug 10 was 6:19. I tried your no-move challenge too… 8:03! Both balls are back in your court - there’s plenty of time to beat my times :-) @phamen Not sure why you're being downvoted -- I think those are interesting and valid ideas, at least for debate/consideration.

I definitely like Creeper World 2 better... The fact that you don't even need to eradicate all creeper makes me want to finish as soon as I can, plus this is MUCH harder.

Aug 10 is the first intrinsically hard map since ages! My goal in these missions is always to reach the emitters and clear the creeper, so sometimes I'm genuinely surprised when the totems power up and I win.

I would like to see different kinds of creeper. Such as a slinger creeper who flings explosive clumps of creep (similar to a mortar) or a drone creeper (self explanatory). + if you agree

@inyourface45 has got it right. Get to high ground (should be relatively small and far from the creep), put down collectors, and then mortars to cover cliff edges. Then reactor away as you do creep control on all sides. Once out of deficit, add storage and speed. Build mortars on ridges to cut paths off. Drone the deep pools of creep, and rush in with blasters. Disarm every weapon off the frontline, and shift Odin forward to speed things up.

Aug 10th's map was really hard for me. Thanks guy who suggested using drones, because it really helped.

To all new players: You can move your base if needed (it is advisable, mostly) you are aiming to shut off some emitters (enemy) and activate the green totems to escape/win. Start by pausing and(moving to high spot/safe spot) building 2 emitters. wait untill they are built and pause again. Now you need to build some emitters while keeping energy positive. neg energy slows you down. In general you will need to build a web of emitters and start to build some reactors slowly, build a storage if you like. When energy production is good (or creeper gets too close) build some blasters and one mortar. (this really depends on the situation, but im saying generally). Now you have a stable platform to grow from, more blasters may be needed or SAM for ariel attack and prob some reactors. pause can be used to avoid panic and catch breath. Good luck learning the rest and having fun. :)

try drones. few upgrade points if possible, collectors, some blasters and drones. I was thinking today map is impossible... I still think it is impossible without moving my base at the begining.

I guess this game is not meant for me, no matter how i try, i never have enough energy to fight against the creepers. If i build guns early, i dont have energy. If i build them later, creepers are too near and such i, yet again, have no more energy to fight against. I dunno how you're supposed to clear these stages :/

58.00 min, my results are like an encephalogram xD 14 drones and they didn't seem enough :D my gained/used energy bars are one on the other xD

Agree with other posters, Aug-10 is a rare, challenging map. 6:37 my first beat -- will save screenshots for later (mini spoilers) since this is such a good map.
