Ah, 1:14 with same setup as before. Timing is everything. I waited for 3 packets to Col7 before hooking up Col6. This let me send totem packets to the left while Col6 energy packets were still in-flight, balancing out the delivery of totem packets -- so there was slightly less delay waiting for last totem to activate.

The idea is to not slow down collector building by trying to build 2 at once when there aren't enough energy packets to do so. col 1&2 are built together. Col3 by itself. I let 2 packets to col4 and then hook up col 5. Hook up Col6 just after Col7 (unmarked) starts. Turn on totem packets as soon as last energy packets are produced for the upcoming collectors. I think I can get 1:14 by tweaking timing further. Not sure if Col6 or Col7 is more valuable. 6 produces more energy but 7 completes the path to the furthest totem.

Just calmly and slowly building my way towards the totems, when suddenly the Creeper outputs decide to overdrive. Max creeper everywhere. Only thing keeping them off is my excessive energy and an amount of drones worthy of a Blitzkrieg.

@daifrit, It sounds like we have a similar setup. The difference is probably due to the timing of the energy packets. @Takiza, I only moved Odin city once at the very start of the mission.

Probably by moving odin city a few times, in the pics hawk gives that's usually the case to save 0.5 seconds hehe. I got 1:17, can't get less I tried 3-4 times trying different collector setups :/ Hawk is a God.

Thanks, Chilese. I started playing Creeper World right around the time iMiPi stopped... I learned quite a few tricks by watching his tutorials on youtube. :)

I failed *sob* built too many drones at once(I was slowly keeping building up to that point) and my 6 blasters ran out of ammo & couldn't keep capping the most important emitter(the one that if capped gave me at least 40% of my building space xD) so....I started dying so I activated the totems. Meh, 83:23.

Damn....1 hr 27 min of survival? dang you're good. I believe I have a good setup on 3/23, at 200 emitters(nothing to pros :/) still going strong but I'm worrying already. I do have totems connected for a possible quick getaway hehe.

March 28th first try 3:19. My first ever attempt to speed run on the first attempt hehe. Easily beat I think, I was/am cautious.

@hawk45: I cry when I read your times on the "long" maps. I wish you had been playing when iMiPi was around. He is a mathematician in the Netherlands. His solutions were elegant as yours are minimalist.

@Takiza: hawk45 has a time of 1:10 for 3/23. If you click on (see all) for comments and dig back, you will find it. 1:11 was my best time. Glad to see you are enjoying the game. :-)

Actually that pic had maybe a second delay in total in the pausing, etc...it was in the end 1:17. But I tried again, & got 1:16 a second time :). I think that's the minimum time...I did my best for absolutely zero delays anywhere, even using only 1x speed, & it was still 1:16.
