@Exosus the maps in this were designed that you wouldn't need to move the city (Blast from the Past actually required you to move the city originally, but one of the emitters was removed so it was no longer necessary in CW:US) - but it will certainly improve your time on a lot of maps by moving the city regardless - for 'Roots of evil' for instance it's possible to just build relays/collectors and connect all the totems if you move the city and position everything carefully without needing to fight the creeper at all.

@cifdtruckie Try getting energy first, when you get more than 5 start building defencive structures, making sure that you build blaster around your structures near the city, the mortars over walls can get rid of a deep pool of the creeper stuff! If you are in a lever with SAMs, cover a area around your city until you know where the spawn stuff are coming from, then move all sams to that side :p Finally make sure you got 100 energy by 10 mins! Reactors help tonnes also. use them now and then a lot. Speed is only for a laarrggee area

Comander: "we finally secured this place from the foul creap. Now lest go fly to a more fun (and dangerus) place hvile this place wil get compleatly flooted because we turn off the energy."

Just realized you can move the city... I've beaten every level on this one and on the other one and never realized that. It doesn't really serve much purpose, but at the same time...

I have a message to the developer of this game. Why is there a scoring system? I can see that most enjoy to make a huge base, and achive maximum victory by sopping the flood generator, and i have it the same way.

the drones has to have like an ability that pre targets than area to fire at so when its full it attack with out you saying so

This game is genius. It is rare that I play a game that is this deep and satisfying. The creator of this, Creeper World 1,2 and Training Sim really came up with something that is ingenious. In design from a technical standpoint it is incredibly fresh, simple yet complex at the same time, but somehow managed to make it all ridiculously gratifying to complete each and every level. And it takes just enough brain power to be challenging, but not so much that is aggravating. It bothers me that other games (though they are good) are rated higher (so far) for this months contest. This developer needs to win and get the credit, praise and prize money he deserves. I can't wait for his next game!

wasn't the issue the creeper emitting insurmountable amounts of creeper? if i can keep the creeper at the emitter why should i flee unless suddenly there is a flood of creeper behind me?

I have a major suggestion for the developer; If at all possible, can you add an option that mutes the in game sounds but not the music? I would really love to listen to the music(which is awesome!) rather than boom boom boom. Thanks.

wait.... you can move the city??!!! ive beaten every level on kongregate and never knew that. of course ive never played a mission where i needed to either...

I think you need to release a few more edition with those creative landscapes... Man, when i play the virus attack level, I was happy that mitochondrias have reactor (make sense), etc. I enjoy your game :D

Love this freakin game. I beat the original in no time, and cant walk away from this one either, Please keep it up, we need great games like this !

Never have I ever moved the city from its starting position. It hasn't occurred to me in this or the other creeper game to fly the city somewhere better until I went back and looked at the tutorial level. What a surprise!

@rychurych : what one are you considering the last level? the bonus one? or the mission 12? the castle one is fairly simple. however if you're talking the mission 12, Well, get repeaters built so you get on the hill to the left, once there and have gotten the buff thing, get the more energy buff. Build a SAM site and a Blaster right next to the town. Get on the little building just south of the town, and feed them there. Get a couple more blasters ready to protect the town area (don't worry if you loose the hill to the left for now). Walk the blasters around, building nodes next to them so you can move them forward. Build reactors and speeds as you feel neccessary... mostly the reactors of course. Take back the hill to the left if you lost it, building SAM every so often. When you're on the hill and have it secure, start walking some blasters down to the hill to the south, use repeaters if necessary. Get two blasters up on the building on the southern hill overlooking the emitter well.

After the city vanishes at the end of a level, it would be great just to watch the map a while longer. You know, so everything runs out of ammo and then the creep just lays waste to everything.
And THEN it ends. (skippable, of course)

3/5 --- mission 12, gotta say that's a little ridiculous. allow me to move my ship in mission 12 and Ill up grade my score

Hehe, I love the new bonus map. Too bad it wasn't larger. I'd love to have an editor too! That'd make this really epic. If we could create our own maps complete with Creeper spawns, upgrades and all that stuff!

you should also have a countdown timer to when the creeper world sends the emiitters that land and cause differe4nt size pools of creeper, and a final countdown timer to when the planet shall be consumed so there is a reason to leave, when the timer ends creeper pools in from each side with unending spore

I'd love to be able to see the creeper slowly take over after I win the mission. I always thought it'd be interesting to see it destroy everything, without Odin City powering the defences.

You know, I have to wonder... Once you've laid down a working network and have each Creep emitter pinned down so that they're no threat... Why do you flee?
