Beyond Awesome Game!!! 10/5 I loved every second of it! Dindnt expect the ending though "this is not the type of bomb you drop,your helicoter will explode and vaporize the enemy base." I feel the ending was fitting but emotional none the less. I hope to see more games like it!

I DID IT! It was so simple: Follow the roads and bomb this - er, don't know what, looks like bridges, but if I bomb the bridges, how can the civilians escape? - No matter, I'm so relieved, having spent hours on that game not to end up without the badge. It's really great, the story, the gameplay, that you can do it on different difficulty settings - almost everything, if just the maps were more detailed so you could easier identify your primary targets. The suicide end was not the slightest problem: On the foregoing missions, I had already died so often, I' got used to it ;-)

Making the enemies RED and the civilians BROWN was not the best choice. Unlessy you intentionally want the players to be confused.

i love that hit & run doctrine is the only effective way demolish each map. i also love that it's the best way to accumulate a good score. that's a great thing to teach your kids. just don't forget to take a quick pot-shot at a turret to get your double 100% accuracy bonus. xD

This was a poor game for BOTD unless you think several hours of raging is appropriate for what is normally a simple badge.

Hardest part of the game is rescuing POWs. Here's HOW to do it:
1) Start the level on EASY mode.
2) Approach a camp from the water, going around the coast out of range of turrets.
3) Spend a life taking out nearby defenses. They respawn quickly so manage time carefully.
4) *TO PICK UP POWs* you must LAND on the big "H" at the camp (Helipad). Blue dots will come to you. Wait for them to board, take off, fly back to the ship.
5) Land on the ship & any POWs in the chopper will be totally saved. Once a camp has been emptied, go back & destroy that area's war factory QUICKLY. Kamikaze is useful; you have infinite choppers.
6) If your chopper dies, any POWs onboard will die too. You don't need to get them all in one trip, so just get who you can then take off while you still have health left. *You can't fire your gun on the ground!*
7) Remember to kill any bombers you see over the water, because YOU LOSE THE LEVEL is if your ship is destroyed.

It wasn't too bad, it was quite fun, the only problem was the lag whenever too many things died at once when destroying a war factory, otherwise it was very good.

I noticed that the chopper's momentum transfers to the bullet's it shoots. I have to ask, is this intentional or a glitch? awsome either way XD.
also does anyone else kamikaze the airports? The fighters are a royal pain.

so... it's like Zone 66, but with helicopters instead of fighter jets, a moving base, no customized payload, no stealth/afterburner mode, barebones graphics, and no music. did i forget anything? oh, right! hideous controls... it's kinda hard to miss that!

I love this game, I would definatly like to have a sequel made somehow even though we sacrifice ourselves at the end. Add more levels and weapons, maybe even an upgrade option although it wasnt really needed, just a nice little extra allowing for more dificulty in later levels. overall loved it!!!

I felt much better about all the POWs I didn't save after the end...I felt like I died as a sort of atonement for my abandonment of all those people. I don't know why, but that game made me feel very responsible for the civilians and the POWs. Strange. Oh well. I should stop before I make an even bigger fool out of myself. Nice game, loved every moment of it.

Way too repetitive game. I dont see how mission 6+ is supposed to be done honestly. Ignore gatling gun, inaccuracy+low dmg+overheating makes useless coupled with how fast stuff respawn, no use except getting rid of bombers harming your aircraft carrier. Bombing ANYTHING except your main target is useless because of FAST ENEMY RESPAWN. TL;DR ignore everything, just bomb what have to be destroyed and just level it all with the ground and crash chopper after chopper.

I should have just destroyed the war factories immediately instead of saving the POWs because my time ran out and my score was 0 anyway in level 6.

If I'm not mistaken, is this game inspired by the NES game -Raid on Bungeling Bay?
I gotta say I enjoy the simplicity of this game compared to that NES horror XD

While I was playing this game, I remembered a game I once played on NES which is "Raid on Bungeling Bay". Look it up on Wikipedia. Come on;it's worth it.

i finished the last mission on easy, and i didn't get the badge. is that "any difficulty setting" bit in the comment correct? should i try to finish the game on normal, or hard? i really don't wanna play level 8 again, it's sooo borrrrrring.
