Under rating threshold (show) Great stuff! REally enjoyed this. Keeping the money when you fail a mission really helps - I think I found the second mission hardest of all until I got some upgrades. Couple of issues: the continue campaign button is tiny, should really be swapped with the new campaign if there's a campagin already active (I nearly wiped my save by mistake); when I continued my campaign, my rank went back to 1; on the semi final qualifier, if the airship goes off the edge of the screen, it never comes back (not sure if that's intentional). But this is seriously addictive!

Hey, I'm glad that you like my game. Good point, writing down your notices, I fix it soon. According to airship, it comes back and appears on the opposite edge on the screen, but is takes time, since it is flying slowly :)

Hi, you can, but not directly. If you rise steeply you slow down. If you turn nose down and dive from top of the screen to low altitude and then pull up to not crash, you gain speed.

the faces are warped faces of real pilots. I couldn't use real pictures because of copyrights so I had to warp them and make caricatures :)

Under rating threshold (show) just fly above the red baron's blimp, and he will keep crashing into it trying to chase you. The AI in this game is hilariously exploitable.

Under rating threshold (show) if we had survival mode it would have 4 planes come in fight you but they get better guns after so many rounds and there would be money system where players could buy weapons and all that stuff before rounds but be timed to and the enemys get more health every round but you get to choose your plane at first and you have to beat campaign first i thing this is a good idea

Under rating threshold (show) I'm really hating the last level. That white out glare is painful on the eyes after a while. It's ridiculously unbalanced, unless you get a huge slice of luck. It's also impossible to tell whether your secondary weapon is available or not.

the white out glare is the result of NUKE explosion. The last level is easy if you know how to take that bastard down. Just a tiny amount of luck is needed. Buy "malicious parachute" weapon to take him down and "emergency parachute" so you have 30% chance to save your life after he kills you.

The real beauty of this game is, that just shooting is not enough. You have to think even about good configuration or weapon build. If you have trouble with such enemies that have emergency parachute, use your wisdom instread of brute firepower. If you buy malicious parachute (cheap) or EMP (more expensive) and make him crash, he cannot escape death :) Try this and nothing will stop you! :D

All the drawings of the pilots are made from real photographs of pilots. Just like all of the airplanes.:)

Under rating threshold (show) Wideanglegames can you add a "endless" or "survival" mode? When you kill the Red Baron you can't continue and i have it with all upgrades.... It's a good game ;)

Under rating threshold (show) very fun and great game game good job! one bug, after lvl 10 or something like that in balloon def mode, ennemies no more take off, i kill them on the floor and they stay destroyed without respawning.

Hi, the main problem is that the game runs on Actionscript2 which is slower then AS3. The only think I can recommend you is to toggle the graphics quality to a suitable level (top right corner button - toggle to LOW value)

Under rating threshold (show) loved it just two issues though. 1: if you emp a plane it only counts as a kill if they are under the status effect even though they come out of it micro seconds from the ground. 2: i have activated emp and killed my opponent after my "pilot" is dead. how does that work? 5/5 anyway.

1)When you cause stall (malicious parachute, emp, acoustic rifle) to enemy plane and it recovers 1 microsecond before touching the ground, you unluckily don't get kill. This is hard to determine when to add kill to stats or not. So I decided to trigger it only when enemy touches the ground stalled. 2) it's a bug not a it's a feature. If you get criticaly hit, you can still fire weapons no matter if "pilot hit" message appears or not :) A big thanks for voting!

Under rating threshold (show) I tried "Altitude," and it´s game play is too unrealistic.. You forget they are planes after a while since gravity makes very little effect... and their weapons are too sci-fy. I like it that you could easily Stall in this game.. I´d hope that in the next versions you would increase the ceiling height at least 3x, and reduce the turn rates, and increase gravity a little bit. As is, climbing advantage doesn´t really mean that much vs. speed. I really hope this game goes Multiplayer some day... it has great potential.

Altitude is not about simulation it is pure simplified model that everybody can play and has fun of it. If I do your recomendations in the game sequel I definitely bury the player audience spread since many casual players will be unable to play. However I can make 2 modes - 1 easy for casual players and 1 hard with all the physics for pro players :) I hope someday I create multiplayer version, but it is too time consuming.

Under rating threshold (show) I don't believe in using walkthroughs unless as a last resort. Needless to say the Red Baron is ridiculously difficult. You can barely get off the ground and you're nuked. He has access to weapons that you have to beat the campaign in order for you yourself to use. I like the game, great idea, challenging, fun! Just wish that the Red Baron wasn't quite so invincible :(

Under rating threshold (show) The only thing that bugs me about this game is the way kills are counted. Gun kills are the only ones that seem guaranteed to count. You could hit an enemy with a nuke, shockwave, EMP, and parachute all at the same time and have him nosedive straight into the ground and get zero points for it.

Hi, you stil get the points when you EMP or parachute enemy, however his engine has to be stalled. Once the enemy manages to recover from stall, indicated by "restarted" flying text, you don't get any kill points. So the vise idea is to stall someone's engine at low altitude,so he has no time to recover from it.
