To quote something I really like "Dying all the time is all right, but I wish the game killed me more." That pretty much sums up this game.

For everyone who is wondering "Why doesn't he buy a coat that can protect him from acid rain?", He invested his money in a item that teleports him to the safest position withing a area. that protects him from more than just acid rain.
now for the normal comment. Lets just say that a game so frustrating can be so fun? The actual rain adds a touch if randomness. it keeps you on the edge of your seat. you could be near the exit when i drop hits you. it adds challenge to what otherwise may have been just another platformer. great job.

Most annoying, frustrating game I've played in a long time. Nice pixel graphics, nice sound effects, but could ya make it just a little easier? I got to level 10 and was stuck for ages trying to get through impossible jumps with acid rain blocking the momentarily free space that I had to get to because of the zombie chasing me. Every time I died it felt like the game was cheating. When I had a free space to jump to a drop of rain fell right on the only place I could go to which I had to jump to immediately or I got killed by either more rain or zombies! Difficulty is great in a game, but when you make it so that the player feels like they're being cheated on by the game itself then it goes too far. I got to the end though, and I like it, annoying as it is. 4/5.

I have a problem with this game. I don't have a problem with instakill rain coming down from the sky, but there's a difference between obstacles that make you lose instantly that are predictable and random death. I mean, the first donkey kong game is one of the most brutally hard platformers in the history of the genre, but it's predictable. The problem with this game is that sometimes, you just die. Good games should never have a 'Oops, you die now' mechanic. If the player dies, it should be because he/she did something wrong, not because the game decided that it was death time.

I hate how everyone's saying it sucks because it's random. Well, the rain is random, but that's the one thing that would make this challenging and fun. I mean, if the rain fell in a distinct pattern, it wouldn't be as fun, right? I think that this developer will make good games, hopefully ones that aren't as disliked, and good job on the pixel graphics. 4/5, but only because I couldn't see what level I was on and you didn't use up for jump.

I loved the randomness. I thought it would be a lot harder after reading the comments. I died 81 times on my first try and my time was 358 seconds. People are whining about the unpredictability. It's the point of this game!

wow this game is frustrating as hell some lvls at least...others not hard but SOME lvls time acid and zombie hands/reg zombies so you need not only emmense platforming skill but luck....anyway I ragequited LOL

If I might make a request, use the up arrow for jump instead of x. And probably provide the wasd controls for people who prefer that. Better yet, let us customize our controls.

Unpredictability is the death of a potentially good platformer. What makes games like this good is pouring over it figuring out how to beat certain levels but since this is random you Can't "figure" a level out. It's 100% luck

made it to the end at 850k points, 21st score overall. Now, let me thank you developer. Thank you for making a hard game that you don't get babied through the whole way, as we are so used to in these days. Brought me back to older games where there was some real difficulty. For that, you sir get a 5/5

The randomness of the game is counteracted by the fact that it's short. 5/5, would've liked a rain indicator though, but it's fine the way it is.

Great game but it needs a little tweaking. The acid rain randomness and constantness is perfect IMO, but i think the game could really use some more pixels at the top, and keep the levels at the same height. It's also annoying that when you complete the game it goes black without telling you your score. Overall pretty good game, but it could turn into a great game with some work.

This game is pretty cool. Controls are fine, difficulty incline is great, was much more fun than those PoS copy paste platformers. Keep it up.

too bad people are rating this down cause of the hardness. I agree the randomnes off the raindrops is bad but still its worth 3 or even 4.
3/5

First of all, I want to stress that I did not like meat boy. It was a headache waiting to happen, IMO, and I only played for a bit.
Now I want to say that I much preferred meatboy to this. Why? Because meat boy requires skill, not endless amounts of luck. This game expects you to dodge rain that comes from anywhere and everywhere, following no particular pattern.
If you're going to make a game hard, make it so that it actually requires skill to beat, not luck. Some times you might find yourself stuck on a platform that you have to jump to escape a zombie.
Oh, wait! You CAN'T jump?
And why not? Because a rain drop decided to appear right above you. Oops.

if anyone can beat the game without dying they have my respect *takes off hat* OOOO A COOKIE!!! TOTALLY WORTH THE COOKIE *nom noms*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why would i want to get a medal at the end when i can have a cookie? :D i think the raindrops were not created randomly, they where created at those spots i want to jump on!
