kind of weak, feels like a prototype? way too much money available, guns too strong, too much hp for hero etc. I say buff all enemies in terms of attacks/ai/damage, and make guns upgradable

apart from difference between chars, it would also be nice to have summary screen at the end of level saying number of monster and coins picked, secrets found etc.

Not bad, but much too simple. I maxed out all the upgrades much too early. Achievements are more interesting if they provide a bonus of some kind. Variation in the characters would add interest to the game.

the last boss was sooooooo easy it was the only boss that didn't doo any damage to me........ and i got all of the badges

Fun but short. One design flaw is that a player may simply backtrack levels to collect extra coins and crystal skulls rather than finding all the crystal skulls.

"Description
Shoot your way through alien invaders in this action platformer! Collect coins and upgrade your weapons to become stronger." So those are aliens? I went through the whole game thinking they were zombies...

I wouldn't say there is anything incredibly bad about this game, but it is hard to say anything that is incredibly good about it as well. The upgrade system could be tweaked a little bit. It becomes very apparent early in the game you are better off saving up for the final gun, which you can totally get away with because all of the enemies are easy enough to dodge that you don't need to upgrade at all. Levels are kinda boring after awhile, there isn't much variety.

Movement is sluggish and boring, and even after trying several weapons, they only mildly increased the factor of fun simply by me getting past these zombies at a slightly quicker pace. It's one of the slowest paced action games I've seen, and the levels seem to have no real design to them other than "occasionally you'll find gold" and "oh lookie, one slightly bigger zombie!" Don't be afraid to challenge your players a bit more, even if they are casual.

Am I the only one who stuck with first gun, till I had enough money for last one? Upgrading money income ASAP and then skipping all weapons?

Tip: To win with other characters in order to get the achievements, you don't have to start over. Instead, after you win the first time, choose 'Continue', select the last level, then select a hero you haven't won with yet. Beat the final boss. Repeat until all of your heroes have won.

3/5 for a few reasons... 1~ Game is too easy. 2~ You can get the last weapon really soon in the game. 3~ I got all achievements (except the ones that tell me to beat the game with an specific character) in my first try on the game. 4~ Didn't few like I had any kind of incentive to beat the game with the other characters, including the unlockables (Btw, Gentleman > all). 5~ There are no separate mute sounds. What if I want to hear the BGM but not the bullets or the bullets but not the BGM? Well, I can't. 6~ No sounds for losing lifes like the character screaming or something. 7~ Death animation is you exploding. What kind of Gentleman explods? Makes no sense... I guess that's it. A sequel would be cool if you fixed some of the issues I just told you.

i would like a fire left/fire right button setup. take off all the extra jump buttons and just leave up as jumpj most people only use that one anyway

This was a nice game for people with spare time. Yeah, spare time... I beat it in 3 hours straight and only died twice, and got all achievements. I give you 4/5, maybe there'll be a sequel? Who knows?

A poor man's Gunbot. That was faster paced, you could aim where you were shooting, more variety in weapons, platforming was harder and no enemies were as cheap as the flying homing ones. The characters were pointless and just seemed like they were there so you could tack on extra achievements in some attempt at replay value. Don't get me wrong, it isn't a BAD game, just already been done much better.

bosses should speed up while their health goes down... and also the thrid boss that minotaur thing should have fire things go from both directions when he slams...too easy.

Moving platforms are too slow! Felt like I spent more time waiting for those than anything else, and I had no reason to kill monsters in the last couple of levels due to maxed upgrades. Otherwise entertaining game, good potential!

I played the gentleman, because it made me feel like a was playing with Professor Layton. Is that horrible? :D
Good game, but as others said, I've no real desire to play with the other characters if it's true that there's no differences.
