I held it off for 50 hours! Is the fact that more than 80,000 soldiers died fighting 1? or is it that it took them 50 hours to overrun the outpost?

i was expecting yet another dull strategy defense game, i cant tell you how surprised i was when d-day defender finally finished loading and i was instead treated to a comprehensively informative flash animation about elves

really sad...for the german soldier not the death of the reich but the only thing that made this game a 4 star was how badly the beach was made there were alot more tank blockers*those metal things you see on the beaches of saving private ryan thing* which block tanks and the troops would try to climb the cliff not shoot at it*unless they had rocket launchers

what a sad game 10/10 best game ever. as doggydoggydogface said war has killed far less than disease ever has, war is never a good thing as it only the shows the hatred and greed of those in power, however, it does show the courage and sacrifice of those who fought to let our countries develop without tyrannical rule.

Postponing the invasion for 60 hours [how long i stopped it for] would have meant that the allies would be pushed back into the sea. Axis troops would have arrived and the gunner would get the iron cross first class.

Good game but the game news by the author is useless Nazis were bad no doubt but allies were also bad.Nazis destroyed Europe and Allies(mainly UK and France) devastated third world countries which were their colonies.

Xeptic, war is very important. if there had been no wars, ever, then there would be overcrowding everywhere, disease would spread from being so close to other people because people will be brought into the world more than people die. its a sad truth, but a truth nonetheless. war prevents overpopulation in the world.

This remind me that patriotism is not like before, they needed to take out the bunkers and destroy the anti air cannons after them, so aircraft could pass and take down any remnants of German troops. You would give your life for other country now ? Nah, before, yes.

@lordleelee2 He was Erwin Rommel, the guy in charge of the defences, days later he tried to negociate peace but hitler personally called him back to berlin where he had two options:1 being judged as a traitor for trying to negociate peace or suicide with a cyanide capsule, for the sake of his famyly Admiral Rommel took the cianyde

During D-Day landing on the beaches, the Allied only landed marines, not tanks until the area is pretty much secured. And there is also tank traps put to prevent tanks to be landed.germany only had about 10k soldiers so this game is highly inaccurate
