you know what this game needs? an option to enable/disable double jumps. it's very annoying when there's a green bird and you double jump accidentally.

Success has been achieved. After about twelve hours of gameplay across two afternoons, and the help of a guide to find some secret rooms, all coins have been collected. I've known this game since 2009 and could never find the patience and skill to beat it. Now I am 24 years old and my cognitive skills have developed enough to allow me to master this game. Extreme victory!

@askolan - Each time you leave the ground you get one double jump. If you wall jump first, you can double jump after leaving the wall (no matter how many wall jump you perform, that double jump will still be available). If you double jump before wall jumping, the wall doesn't refresh it. The game isn't unresponsive, you're just not comprehending the jump mechanism.

How is this game rated so low??? Probably because it's so difficult. But isn't that why we play these games? The challenge is what makes it so fun!

For all the haters on the controls: Get a cheap gamepad, download joytokey and configure it like you want it too ... i got imp with the snes gamepad :D

Got it! perfect game if it weren't for the terrible lag and sudden sliding in the later levels,i still can't give this less than a 5/5 though,and i will NEVER play it again :D

Yay got it finally after like 8 hours of playing or so! I find it odd that there is a code showing the locations of the secret levels, but it's only accessible AFTER you get 1009 coins.

I lost all my progress too, but it's surprisingly easy to redo levels I've already done. I got the Lv 30 bird in 20 tries.

This is the best and probably the most difficult platform game ever, prepare to be sceaming in rage at the impossible badge. I give is 5/5 :D

Impossible and Hard Badges aren't given out like candy, and for a good reason: it's supposed to be hard, it's supposed to take extreme skill and effort to obtain. This game separates those self-entitled whiners versus those that actually do put in the effort. The BotD by itself is a 2-minute effort, if this game isn't for you, at least put in that. If you can't, you've just shown how short-tempered you are.

I like the game's idea a lot, finding the secret coins but at the same time skill is needed to make certain jumps. Good game!
