@iamglad there is a bug that lets you replace towers witha creature in a specific spot. Check the official forum to learn how to do it

@abcd2734: Firestorm targets each slot individually, so it doesn't touch them. All the AoE's in this work like that. Also, there is little reason to buff them since they are so strong in general.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh shit sorry for thinking that it would work the same way as the extremely popular card game that this obviously stole aspects from.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
exactly closer to hexproof which means firestorm should hit them since fire storm doesnt target and hits all enemy minions just like hexproof minions die to board wipes in Magic
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@abcd failure to understand game mechanics does not make it a bug, the key word is "targeted", spells that affect the board do not target it, they just happen. In that way, you can use cards to work around "immortal" cards, immortal does not mean that it can not die, just that it is closer to the magic ability hex proof.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@abcd2734 Nope, immortality works fine at the moment. Fire storm DOES target, it just affects every enemy creature. Kinda as if you played one fire bolt on each of the enemy critters whilst having less than 10 mana. Fire shield just backfires. I agree it's a little unclear, but it's far fom being "terrible". Also, you seem especially eager to hate on the game, with or without reason ^^
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@omega because if its wrong its a feature right. Just like how being immortal says you cant be targeted but fire storm doesnt target and still doesnt do damage fire shield does though? inconsistency from a terrible game

@PP413: What you pointed out wasn't a bug, it is intended. The reason for it is it had caused issues before it was changed to be like that. You didn't need to be downvoted for that, I agree.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I never criticized the game, I pointed out a bug, then pointed out how ridiculous the downrating is.
Pointing out a bug is not an insult to a game, every game has bugs, and frankly it's a tiny bug, but one people should be aware of.
I said that people were downvoting everything that wasn't just showering this in praise, because it's true and it's not right. If somebody is insulting the game, its creator or the players and nothing else its one thing, but most of these downvoted comments are very neutral, and trying to be helpful. (Why do you think I reported a bug? To dis a game I kept playing? No, so people could avoid the circumstances, and/or the creators could patch it.)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
PP413 and abcd. Like it's been said many times before, this game ain't perfect. And I have no problems admitting that. However I usually downrate criticism that aren't constructive liks your were to a large extent.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why do people complain about this game not being updated? Akin to chess it is one of the most balanced games I've ever seen and is probably better off not being updated
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like how if you're not praising the game your comment gets downvoted to heck. RE: The five comments below this one, and probably this one too. (Even though I'm not insulting the game, I find it to be quite fun. This is annoying thought.)

This game is overwhelming for newer players, I had the same problem when I started. But to say its broken is just plain wrong. The chat is always helpful and ready to answer any question one might have.

Omg. So many newbies whining about predictable game mechanics and blaming the game for their own bad luck/rate chances...
If u have finished the kindergarten i'm pretty sure you know how to read properly, so you won't find many problems understanding how the arena works, just read (don't except a specific video showing you what part of the screen you must click to play a game). Btw u can even read most of the cards's abilities in the bazar (rare cards are not there).
Sotimes PvP won't work and i guess the owner won't do much... yea, that sucks.

so many bugs in this game it is unreal real tutorial, bit of a mess really... Cancelling moves still costs mana no tutorial for the slot machine no tutorial for area PVP doesnt work as people keep stating and they have no plans to fix it... Plus I couldnt get the game to work in arena also if u are new to the game you will have no idea what is going on unless you know all the classes and all the cards in the game no HUD of what is even happening in the game... pen to paper awesome game just a shame it was so poorly executed.

Quick bug report: I was using the Black Nymph's ability, when I decided I wanted to wait a turn, but when I cancelled I lost my quanta anyway. (It was my only dark quanta.)

@GrumpyNos
I can see why you're playing such a deck. I love 60 card rainbows myself... but hey, if you can't draw what you want and don't want to reduce the size, just swap some cards around, see what works and what doesn't. Lastly, you should be prepared to get a bad draw, as it's a big deck. It's not the game screwing you over, it's your deck, duh.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@GrumpyNos 60 cards is even for a rainbow deck 30 too many. Reduce your decksize and you will get more consistent draws. 1 deck you can work towards is called "The Bone Collector".
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@edcedcedc 60 card rainbow deck or whatever they call them. Works pretty well most of the time up to level 4. Need more upgrades to tackle level 5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Grumpy Your comments makes e curious of the deck you're playing. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a 45 cards deck that can do everything?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@grumpynos: The game is not cheating. It is mostly you remembering the bad events more then the good ones. Odds do not get put against you the more you play. I have stuck with the same deck for hours and had no worse luck at the end of the run, without refreshing, then at the start.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@TheArrogantOne Oh I can win just fine for a few games. Then it decides that I won't be getting any towers for the next several games or that my quantum towers will pointedly not generate the mana I need to play any of the cards in my hand for several rounds while the ai opponent throws his entire deck at me within a few turns. Refreshing the page generally causes the odds to go back to normal.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@GrumpyNos What do you even mean, to be honest? Your comment makes no sense. If you can't win, that's not the AI's fault.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sure, when you reach end game point why not hold onto them, but if you're randomly flooded with lots of the same rare, that electrum could be useful for upgrading. I happened to get 15 arsenics early on, sold off the extras to help upgrade other cards. Most people who play this game don't have 10s of thousands of extra electrum.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@grolox: As well as what edcedcedc said, at some point, selling stuff doesn't do anything for you besides keep clean numbers. Why bother selling things when you have most everything, and several 10s of thousands of electrum?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Grolox. You keep extra rares for bragging. For instance I've got 52 Shard of focus, 48 shard of freedom and 45 relics(6 upped).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, don't sell rare cards until you have 12 of them. There is really no need to have 13 of one card, even if its rare. 6 upgraded and 6 non upgraded. Anything more is useless.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it would be cool if there is a rare cards trade centre.. so players can exchange rather than selling exessive rare cards
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think the coins thing was meant to be like in poker and pinochle and such, where you 'ante up' before getting down to business. Or at least that's how I like to imagine it, two gruff weather-beaten wizards coming in from a cold storm into the local pub, decks of cards that become real creatures beating each other up on the table while they chug a warm mug of ale. It being the 'ante' makes sense due to the fact there's additional money not put in when you get an EM win, so maybe that's like the spectatin' orcs and elves tossing coins for an impressive showing, or there's a 'side bet' unseen during play

for those having trouble with the "get X score" quests, just go farm the bronze arena (theres a good amount of 1 hp people, and although theres some higher hp inbetween, you just need 2-3 wins to gain by a decent amount how much 1 loss takes away, so unless your really unlucky, it shouldnt take more than 15-30 min.) Now to help combat thiose higher hp ones alot easier, get a deck of roughly thirty with:a mark of earth, 4x quantum pillars, a bow, a shield, 2x lycanthropes, 6x novas, 2x momentum, 5x graboids, 2x forest spirit, 2x deflagration, a freeze, 2x fog shield, and lastly 2x lightning

It has been 7 years since this game came out, and I finally got the badge for 7 quests. That feeling when you sk at this game
