@SpencerW37: If you played for an hour and couldn't buy at least one card, you are doing things very wrong. An hour should buy you at least half a deck if you were doing things right. Ask for help in chat.

@VRagas: Its a card game for god sake! Of course its going to take luck! No more so then most other card games. If you build your deck right, you minimize luck, this also applies to other card games. And of course there is a limited amount of cards, the game is young with a single developer. But I digress, it is very possible to win games without any control whatsoever.

@deathlightDB: There is a reward system that isn't luck, the electrum you get after each round. And before anything else, yes, it does add up even if slowly. The spins are bonus rewards, nothing more.

Dino-> Rare cards are obtained in the following manner: Nymphs are only accessible from the Oracle, and possibly from reward codes; reward codes are most easily gotten by spending cash. Shards, weapons and the few rare creatures can be won from opponents and special spins in the arena.

@Clarrie: that 'yellow status condition is called neurotoxin. what it does is it gives you 1 poison counter each time you play a card. just dont play pillars/pends unless you really need to and you should survive a bit more.

Aarikku. By the sound of it I can tell you played very few games. In elements there are thousands of different decks and many different strategies and just playing pillars and play big things turn 2 won't win you all games. I would recommend you to playa bit more before you comment again. Also player with most plays right now got 40 000 plays..

Love it. But I'd really recommend having in-game music. The only music I hear is the intro music--which is nice--but I'd like to have the option to turn it on during battle. Maybe even a jukebox is a good idea, and I can cycle through various tunes.

@edce: There's no best deck, beginners may as well use mono darkness fully unupped and have better results because grabbow isn't that easy to be played.

My college roommate is trying to get me in to Magic The Gathering, and he asked if I could get anything that would help him come up with a deck that works for my playstyle. I showed him my Hearthstone, and I thought of this when he showed me land cards. Reminded me of my Elemental Towers build, pure random with no coordination, but always got me a win because of how impossible it was to counter. Wish I could show him the deck I had, but guess I'll never get the chance. RIP this game, a lot of great nights were had here playing this with my friends.

@Gmodfanatic1 Once you complete the 500 score, you sure as hell will continue enhancing your deck and find out how easy it is to get 500. (As fantasywarrior18 stated) I honestly didnt go for the AI3 grinding, I went for PvP with a mono Darkness deck. Don't give up!

Message sent to Kong: As of 21/12/2016, the game is giving messages (top, left of middle screen) "disconnected", "progress lost" "NOT saved!". It is still possible to play against the Level 1 to 4 and False God AI, but no progress is saved, and the Arena and Oracle are not accessible. Also on the elementsthegame website, it is impossible to create an account. Whichever username is tried, even random sequences of letters, the message comes back "Username already in use". Is the game no longer being maintained? I am using a Firefox Browser, and have not had any problems with the game up until now. This is a really great game and I really hope it can be revived.

Been playing this game for years and will continue to do so right up until the day the servers die of old age. I've seen multiplayer server issues come and go, and this too shall pass.

@zman14888: Just because it can be countered doesn't mean its not overpowered. Yes, people should adapt to it since it is unlikely to be nerfed any time soon(sadly), I will agree with that. However, it would also be nice to have more then 10 or 15 decks be viable just because dime shield stopped 90 others. Most rushes can't hope to win against it, deflag and steal also are far from win cons against it, though they do help. Bringing counters doesn't mean you win.

Yes danhkolai, you can change your mark. At any time. Without the ability to change your mark, you would be severely limited in terms of different decks

I enjoy the game. Two things that I think could be very helpful:
1) A sort button to show all cards that you have more than 6 of.
2) A graphic to go along with purchasing/selling a card. Sometimes it takes the server a few seconds to respond, and I don't play with sound so I can't hear if it actually clicked, and end up double buying/selling something.

I had a Crusader with 20|7 or something, and it had the vampire ability. Then it says "Improve" and it turns into a parasite with 5|1 and scavenger ability. I know they mean improved for being a parasite, but still: Lol.

Can someone please explain to me the win rate from spins? I know it's somewhat relevent to the cards in the deck, but what's the win rate? In a deck with 6 creatures and 24 pillars, or 12 creatures and 18 pillars. Curiousity, I suppose, I couldn't find it anywhere in the forums on elementscommunity.org Unless I didn't look deep enough...

@mags227 You need to finish all the quests, and then press the button on where the quests used to be. It costs 1500 electrum to up a card.

@BloodlinE213, Not true, Just because they play maybe 2-3 hours a day for a long time period doesn't mean they scarified their life.

@omegareaper7: I might be complaining, but I can tell you that I'm not having fun at the moment. Please note that as I indicated before, I am not bashing the game, I have an issue with the achievement that was chosen as part of the Best of quest. I'm not thumbing my nose at help, but generally I do like to complete games/quests/puzzles on my own if possible. I'm now at W91 and L41 for 420 points, a win gets me something like 15 score on AI3 which I can now win on decently. I'm not sure how your math is calculating 40 matches from that though.

Well, Rainlord, I'm sorry to break your day, but Emerald Shield only reflects targeting spells, like Fire Bolt, that target a PLAYER. It will not block Poison, and it blocks 1 damage, making the damage a creature with 1 attack would do nulled. Basically, you're arguing a flawed point. I know how the card text works, trust me. Playing a lot of tcgs help with that. Now why don't you stop complaining over one card and actually play the game?

You do realize you just spent however long ranting ineffectually over the fact that one single card class's ability description isn't quite specific enough for you and one card doesn't do what you feel it should, right? :P People have tried to be helpful, but you aren't bothering to listen. You've insulted the game's developer and other players (who are trying to help explain things to you) who knows how many times over something that is in the end, utterly and completely trivial, both to the game, and life in general. You're being down-rated because you aren't being rational, and you're insulting others. If you feel that's unfair, deal with it.
