The game should be "guess what's in zdbz'd's head"... it's like those obscure riddle games, only worse... the problem with such games is that they don't rely on some universally accepted logical connections, but rather you have to know how the maker thinks. For instance, why connect the cat to the mouse and not to the bird? Arbitrary.

I REALLY want to give this five stars, but I just can't. As said before, the words should not be arbitrary. If they are, then include "hints." Maybe allow a certain number of hints per level. As of now, it is just far too difficult.

Now, I think the real problem here is the concept of lateral thinking. Here it tends to be words associated by a certain relationship. So shapes could include characteristics of shapes (regular irregular) or dimensions etc. It's a little of a throw off that the links are so few.

The built-in levels are very poorly done. However, the game does have a level editor implemented, which allows better levels like one by squarecirclehair, where the goal is to get from the word "start" to the word "end" by altering one letter a time. Essentially, unless the space of possible words is reduced, e.g. through squarecirclehair's level description, the game plays out as a guessing game with no hints and with lots of frustration, due to the clues being insufficient to suggest the desired answer.

I like games like this, but this just isn't fun, because there's no reason why certain limited right answers have been chosen...it's just blind guessing.

A game chat room might be nice to share hints. Some of these are inevitably not going to work for everyone. I can poke at shape names all day, but naming a particular football celebrity? Not so much.

Civilization is spelled as "civilisation." Aside from that, it's a very fun game that made me stay up far too late. I really like that you can make your own levels as well. A+!

Not very good, as I thought of MANY a word that should have worked, but didn't, because it wasn't the specific one you picked. It's a case of "can you guess what the devs were thinking of?"
