Impossible badge: 500 points: Get an A on the final boss...
Speaking of badges, I'm not the first one to mention this. Kongregate... THIS GAME IS AWESOME IT NEEDS BADGES!!! Sorry for shouting.

Hey! That's probably one of the Kongregate games to feature a music from a Nintendo game! It was released on 2009 and is still available on Kongregate after over 5 years!

wasnt the best ive played (frantic 1-3) but it was a realy good 1 for the day it came out aswell the music couldve been more upbeat the final boss could have double the attack pattern so it doesnt get quite so repetitive and the upgrade system couldve focused with money or for every grde u get a half point idk wasnt very effective byut ive got to say the upgrades r more creative then some ive seen

Really enjoyed this game, especially the creativity put into the bosses. My only complaint is the upgrades are just not creative enough. 4/5

Great game one of my all time faves. That last boss is a bitch to learn the patterns to but red missiles+super shot gets him dead fast enough. It helps he takes like 90% of the screen so that u can just spam them on him even when he's firing crap everywhere.

*Look at the game* | Me: "Bullet hell, huh? Let's see how hellish it is." | *Playing 1st level* | Me: "This.... is this... really... LEVEL ONE???"

Really difficult to beat the final boss, but once you get a hang on his patterns you can manage, best weapon load-out is all points to dumb missiles. It was a very rewarding victory.

A short but fun bullet hell shooter, Red Fluxion is an overlooked gem. Like others, I discovered this during Kongregate downtime. The levels have a satisfying difficulty curve, and though some bosses seem too tight or too chaotic to realistically perfect, you're given so many lives that the game is less about winning than it is about excelling and enjoying. There is a lot of potential here that could be developed with more and more balanced upgrades, as well as more interesting stages before the bosses. 4/5.

These song are from Nintendo games, but they are heavily remixed. The level music is Corneria from Starfox, and boss music is from the last stage in Super Mario Galaxy, I believe. Not sure what the menu song is though.

Pretty cool and hard, the only difficulty I saw was been Boss ships do instant-fast movement, sometimes went trough my head and killed me, WTB if u dunno the movements of the boss u have a chance of 90% to get hit

Truly the most challenging Bullet Hell I've ever played. Instead of looking for flaws in an infinite sea of bullets, it was more like I had to dodge all of the moving obstacles while trying to actually hit the boss. I'd appreciate it if the ship moved a tad faster thoough and that my progress would actually be saved when I play this game from the Kongregate Downtime page -__- had to start from scratch when I got to the main page.

@Game Maker, could you upload the Boss Theme onto Youtube or put up a link for it? I want to be able to listen to that badass tune when fighting other enemies in other games.

WHY this game has not badges.
Cool bosses, cool upgrade system (TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!), bullet hell as f**k, a lot of fun. I did final boss twice because of it's awesomeness.
Will be ever more fun if you put 2 upgrade points if A rank: because i don't feel like taking A rank for nothing! :D
5/5, hope that more games like this comes from you.

This loaded as the "Kong is down for a bit, so play this." game. I love the beefed up minimalist games like this...But the music implies one thing which is not provided in the game...Why can't I do a barrel roll???
