really easy, just get graveyards on your first 2 starting territories to make the starting game easier, then start building war academies (or whatever they are to unlock new units) and train gladiators < knights < samurai (the one that you are able to train from research.) when invading avoid all river territories until the near end, and avoid marshy and castle territories for a bit but after a while dont be afraid to invade them because your army will easily faceroll. in battle just use the attack power + stragedy and put all your melee forces onto WILL. wait a couple days before you capture your last territory so you can stockpile money and spam samurai end game, once you conquer the islands surronding the big one with the boss; buy covering fire on each of them so you can kill the big island's ranged units making the boss fight much easier

it would be nice to be able to sell units and abilities so that you don't have all of your territories filled with crappy skeletons toward the end of the game

Facerolled Japan only to get facerolled by the huge end game difficulty jump.
Would like to see the option to toggle on/off the automatic unit creation. A rally point feature for created units would be good too.
Managing army movement across the continent is a pain.

The first few times I played, I was absolutely decimated. Once I realized what I was doing wrong, I took over everything with ease. Just requires some good strategy.

If you make a second game I think that you should have it so you can upgrade your troops (not getting different ones, but stronger or more health or something).

I think there should be a third category of upgrades, which you also buy but can affect the rest of the game (Research and Development). This could give you a small, permanent health bonus, or extra unit space.

yes mr sniper. you have to walk until your target is directly in front of you instead of just turning your scope. and there would definately be guns and gladiators at the same time...and u definately have to aim at that huge green giant. take your time...take your time...

The end boss is way too hard to beat if you don't know it's coming and prepare for it by stockpiling giants all game....

but it can better!¡!
1) online/multiplayer version.
2) teaming up.
3) different continents that have different units and spells (that still can get better).
maybe you can set those things in version 2?¿?

Guys, this game can't get achievements because it doesn't include the Kongregate API. Only games with the Kongregate API can get achievements, no matter how awesome they are. I vote the dev should add the Kong API! Press + so everyone can see this.

Great game! 5/5! Needs some things though! Like said already above, BADGES! I cant stress this enough, it would be amazing for such a great game like this to have badges!! Needs some more units :3 (possible advance on already made units like fire wizard, their could be a water wizard, earth wizard air wizard etc.). THEIR NEEDS TO BE A SEQUEL! As already mentioned the sequel could have more units, ALLIES (you could create a new 'diplomat' unit for this ;3 and mabey even some multiplayer. Amazing game, keep up the great work!! 5/5 and faved!

Hokkaido is one of the best beginning prefectures. You can conquer and easily defend nearby prefectures. Defeating the skeletons is easy. You gain revenue quicker than other places, so build a knight army of 25. Their skeletons are very weak. It is however, annoying because you won't have much nearby to fight the aliens things later. Last thing: Play some other prefecture and notice after about 30 or so days, Hokkaido will be big.

I soooo wish for a sequel. Maybe add custom missions and such to do. This game is awesome in it's current state and has lots of potential to become 1 of the greatest games there are.

How to defeat an army of samurai and snipers: Buy 80% knights and 20% defenders. Right after the beginning of the battle, use the Stunning Strategy and move your knights in rank (By dragging the Knight button at the bottom) to where the snipers are. The samurai will then focus on your defenders will your knights slay the snipers. Once the snipers are dead, reformulate your knights and drag them in lines, avoiding the reach of the samurai but still keeping them close enough to deal damage. Remember that a knight has a longer range than a samurai. This will eventually kill them.

protip: the alien things will attack nagasaki, ishikawa, and hokkaido. i suggest filling those 3 up with giants and a few medics, giants will pwn the alein things, even the boss.
