Great use of sound. It may have only took five or so minutes to play, but it was a good five minutes.

Pretty good game for the first few levels, but, as has been mentioned before, it does get boring. This could be over come by some added elements aside from stronger guys. New maps? A storyline? Different forms of attack (e.g., air strike/arrow volley, bomb blasts). Also, the game would be much more epic with some good battle sound effects. The sounds of death grunts and clashing steel is what really brings out war.

Congrats Johnathan! You have just won the most idiotic comment from someone who clearly doesn't know what they are talking about badge! Obviously the game does work or else it wouldn't have over 9,000 gameplays and a full scoreboard. Thanks for being wrong. And thanks again for most likely voting 1 star. Have a nice day. I know I will now that I have something to laugh about.

Im in the same boat as catsupyoshi. Why no floccinaucinihilipilification or pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis?

It is definitely not the game for I just scored over 300k on archetype. However, due to the chat hogging resources, there is some lag which is never a good thing on a music based game. Play the game on Newgrounds if you are witnessing any choppy gameplay.

Too basic, primitive graphics, music loops when you play again, and other various problems. It's nice to see new people enter the field, but you're going to need a bit more practice before you are ready to submit stuff.

Weee. I beat hard second try. Either I'm totally awesome, or the game needs more to it. Of course, both can be true. If you decide to make a sequel, include a level editor.

@walker: Avoiding is a very common goal in a game. Everything can't be good or else there is no challenge. Look at the game particles, the whole point of the game is to avoid. And in all shooter games you avoid gun fire. I couldn't disagree with your statement more.

STOP SAYING THE GAME DOESN'T REGISTER CLICKS! It's very frustrating to hear everyone say it. The only way it wouldn't register all the clicks would be if I coded it to do so, and why in the world would I do that? The only reason why it doesn't go up when you click the ball is because you are MISSING IT! Quit blaming your own faults on me please.

To answer a few questions, this isn't a ripoff of anything; kick-ups games are a basic game concept and I have never even heard of Population: Tire, and the name sounds dumb. And the question with proper clicks. There is no proper click, you are simply missing the ball. Trust me on this one, I made the game.

I could repeat the other commenters, but there are other things to be said as well. Why have such a large range of weapons when you only need two? The pistol is the only one worth using until you run out of ammo, then you would use the strongest hand to hand weapon. In order to need multiple weapons, there needs to be more weapon variables, such as speed, strength, distance, and even specialty for enemy types (however there were only two enemies--white guy and black guy and the black guy turned white when he died). Also, the weapon switching was way too fast. However, even with everything negative I've said, it was still an original game, and could be a hit if executed better. Keep practicing :)

It looks like a fun game, but it seriously needs to be optimized first :S The levels are too graphically intense to have run all at once. TD, use your coding magic to fix that problem!

Not original; I saw another game with an identical concept minus the madness characters. However, this is still a great rendition of the concept.

This isn't a game until there is a purpose. Make a score box at least. And didn't you submit this once already?

The mess you are talking about indie is part of the challenge. Make paths organized as part of your strategy. I gave the game a four. It's originally, but it definitely has room for improvement.

Great graphics, and smooth gameplay. But it doesn't have enough wow or originality for me to vote 5.

I saw this game on NG front page for a long long time, but this is the first time I took the time to play it. Very nice.

Four Second Frenzy

The reason why Four Second Firestorm wasn't a part of the challenge is because it would be virtually impossible, and entirely not realistic, to set it up with the Challenge API. The game took 30 minutes, a high end computer, the Flash 9 Alpha, and a lot of luck to export in the first place. To have to do it all again hardly deserves a laugh.

You don't even know how much this game took out of me... blood everywhere... *shudders* Alright so no blood, but it was definitely a challenge, a fun one though! Great game, I hope to see more from you.
