Platform Product Manager

Working with minimal supervision, the Product Manager collaborates closely with senior management, design, content, community, and technology teams to identify business opportunities, build product strategy, and facilitate development of Kongregate platform products. The principal business outcome for this role is to facilitate cross-functional collaboration related to innovative product development. Working on the Kongregate platform means learning the business cases and work flows for many different consumers, so having your fingers in many different things should excite you instead of overwhelm you. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with the San Francisco based Director of Product, Platform; and work closely day to day with the Portland based Engineering team with a focus on execution.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a world-class user experience for the Kongregate platform that addresses Kongregate’s diverse audiences and communities
Drive profitable product-related revenue growth
Work closely and collaboratively with the Engineering team to provide implementation guidance and drive development.
Write product requirements for new and existing functionality
Lead initiatives from concept through implementation — create innovative feature enhancements, Define feature specs and facilitate the timely execution of related schedules

Director of Analytics

As a Director of Analytics, your mission is to make us awesome at collecting, processing and presenting data. Data is at the heart of everything we do as a company: from our platform businesses like kongregate.com through the day-to-day planning and roadmapping of our free-to-play games. Your primary responsibility will be acting as the owner of all major data initiatives in the company, and overseeing the team that manages those data projects. You will advocate for the effective use of data in the areas of gaming platforms, game design, product design, marketing, portfolio analysis and more. You will work with internal and external customers to understand their needs and lead your team to deliver products and solutions that serve those needs. You will manage analysts who will instrument products and deliver dashboards to those customers. You will oversee data engineering teams implementing ETLs and other data management scripts. You will identify and vet partners and vendors to help us more effectively deliver value to the customers of data initiatives.

Our ideal candidate is an avid gamer and SQL wizard, with a love for analytics and the gaming industry.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead all data initiatives and data teams in the company, including analysts and data engineering.
Oversee the analysis of all Kongregate products and services, from gaming platforms like kongregate.com through individual games developed by our game development teams.
Develop and manage a data investment roadmap that unlocks the full power of data for our product, marketing, game teams and executives.
Develop robust procedures and policies for data quality control, validation, outage management, escalations and communication.
Triage the allocation of data team resources to best deliver the most value in a dynamic environment with many competing priorities and requirements.

Part-Time Office Manager

As a Part-Time Office Manager, you will coordinate all office services for the Portland office and assist with the San Francisco, Chicago, and San Diego offices, as well as remote employees as needed. The primary business outcome for this position is to support Kongregate initiatives and provide administrative support for the department. This position may interact with the SF office manager and HR Manager several times a week. This role is generally characterized by basic levels of scope and complexity, and a moderate level of independent decision making.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs customer service functions by responding to employee requests and questions
Plan and schedule group meetings and secure necessary resources, including travel, housing, and meals.
Oversee the physical maintenance and organization of the office, including the selection and supervision of appropriate vendors for cleaning and repairs, as well as special projects that arise
Maintain office records by designing and maintaining filing systems; ensure proper transfer, retention and disposal of files/records

VP of Platform

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with the Kongregate executive team.

The VP of Platform is based in Portland, Oregon with a minimum of one week of travel per quarter.
