Game Community Manager

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Engage, nurture and build community around the game
Respond to comments and reviews in the app store
Monitor forums and interact with players there
Identify, communicate and consult with developers and producers on community issues and game bugs

Temporary Customer Support Representative

Kongregate is looking for a Temporary Customer Support Representative to provide support for our mobile and web-based games, including Battlehand, Spellstone, Raid Brigade, and an unannounced title. Customer Support Representatives respond to technical, billing, and general product questions via the Customer Support Ticketing system, by writing individual responses and directing customers to useful knowledgebase articles in our self-help portal. In addition, they may be required to monitor chat and in-game messages and take appropriate disciplinary action as necessary.

The Senior Producer, Mobile Games manages the creation and operation of mobile games by external developers through Kongregate's mobile publishing program. The Senior Producer oversees the work of 3rd party game developers and also serves as an individual contributing designer and analyst. The goal of this role is to ship and operate hit games for mobile and to help the GameStop/Kongregate organization achieve its overall business objectives, taking games from the concept stage all the way through test markets and global release on mobile platforms.

Mobile Platform Relations Manager

The Mobile Platform Relations Manager is responsible for daily/weekly communications with Mobile platform partners that essential to Kongregate's mobile publishing program. This role will work closely and collaboratively with the mobile publishing team in order to maintain productive relationships between Kongregate and our partners. They will need to be subject matter experts on all things relating to Kongregate's partners as well as staying abreast of emerging F2P gaming trends, and leveraging additional consumer information provided cross-functionally from GameStop's marketing, merchandising, and operations departments. He/she will interact with his or her supervisor as frequently as needed by either. All routine and many non-routine decisions may be made without prior supervisor approval. Mobile Engineer

Kongregate's Mobile Engineering team develops and maintains the Kongregate Mobile SDK with new features and bug fixes while working directly with game producers and developers to assist with their needs. This small team is in need of engineers to help develop the SDK during this critical growth phase.

As a Mobile Engineer at Kongregate, you will work with Android, iOS, Unity/C#, Rails, and Ember. Our SDK communicates with the Kongregate back-end via HTTP calls, manages a complex hybrid WebView application, and wraps multiple third-party libraries such as Swrve and Adjust. You will work with external game studios to help them integrate the SDK and assist with problems they encounter.

Candidates should be smart, eager to learn, excellent communicators, and extremely tenacious. Mobile development can be frustrating at times, especially when trying to find workarounds for bugs on older devices with outdated operating systems. We are looking for someone who finds satisfaction in squashing difficult bugs, and is not afraid to dig deep to find the cause of obscure issues.

This critical and emerging team is in need of engineers to help expand our data processing capabilities as Kongregate continues to grow.

As a Data Engineer at Kongregate, you will work with Ruby, MySQL, and Puppet in addition to various AWS products including RedShift, S3, EMR, Lambda, and Kinesis. Our data pipeline extracts data from S3, transform it in Ruby jobs and loads it into RedShift. Part of your job will also be to assist our data analysts and game producers to assist with identifying and resolving data pipeline concerns.

Candidates should be smart, eager to learn, excellent communicators, and extremely tenacious. We are looking for someone who is able to both help define and implement best practices regarding data pipeline development.
