Product Manager

As a Product Manager on the Kongregate mobile publishing team, your mission is to maximize the business success of our portfolio of mobile games. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing data and building recommendations to improve all aspects of free-to-play games, from the features that drive monetization and retention, to the analysis necessary to drive profitable paid user acquisition. You will work with our producers to help them gain a deeper understanding of how users are behaving in their games. You will work with our marketing team to analyze marketing campaigns, player retention and virality and help guide budget allocations across networks.

The ideal candidate is an avid game player, understands mobile game design and product best practices, and has an inherent love of analytics and data.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to monitor the health of current games and optimize game systems and features.
Collect, clean, and analyze game data to uncover trends and derive new insights into specific games.
Own and provide game and feature design recommendations to our portfolio of games with a focus on business priorities and impacting top KPIs (retention, monetization, virality, etc.).
Support all recommendations with a blend of industry experience and data/analysis.
Assist with the design and implementation of schemas for tracking game events and data.

Requirements:
Strong SQL and Excel skills.
Robust knowledge of statistics.
Keen analytical mind that thrives in a metrics driven environment.
Working knowledge of free-to-play game products and their best practices; hardcore products preferred.
Passion for the mobile games business.
Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and ambitious.

Preferred:
Quantitative degree (Engineering, Math, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, etc.).
2+ years experience in the gaming industry, preferably in an analytical or PM role.

Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze and optimize game systems and features.
Take ownership of analysis and suggestions for game mechanics and design.
Propose and design A/B tests for optimizing game elements.
Design tools and processes for efficiently auditing data sources.
Troubleshoot data quality issues and work with producers, analysts, internal developers, and external game developers to reach solutions.

Requirements:

Ad Operations Coordinator

Kongregate is looking for a smart and energetic person to be the Ad Operations Coordinator for GameStop.com, Kongregate.com, GameInformer.com, and their mobile apps. This role will be the linchpin on a team that is deeply involved in every part of the game industry from mobile, to console, to free-to-play games. The role will be a resource on digital advertising and the person will have a passion for learning and mastering ad-serving technologies.

Responsibilities:
Traffic ad campaigns across three sites and mobile apps
QA ad creative and trouble shoot technical problems
Effectively communicate with advertisers and agencies to resolve technical and creative issues
Work with site teams to get creative approvals in a timely manner
Optimize campaigns to reduce under-delivery
Work with paid and internal campaigns
Use DFP, Fyber and SuperSonic
Maintain and update daily ad revenue report
Produce pacing reports to make campaign delivery visible to sales
Responsible for post campaign analysis, reporting and case studies
Project ad inventory for advertising proposals
Help out the sales department answering RFPs as needed
Create monthly billing reports for campaign invoicing

Requirements:
Familiar with DFP/DFA Small Business, MediaVisor, Atlas, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities
Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to team members

Mobile QA Tester

Kongregate, a mobile and web games publisher, is looking for a Mobile QA Tester. This role will work closely with our mobile production team in a variety of areas including testing builds, creating test plans, and working with third party QA organizations in their testing efforts.

Responsibilities:
Accurately enter bugs found in a clear and concise manner
Construct test plans and test cases for a variety of games
Test other Kongregate platform tools and offerings
Complete regular test plans and playthroughs of mobile games
Manage build releases, track changes, and ensure submission candidates have met all necessary criteria for release
Document new features or changes to Kongregate platform tools and the state and health of individual games
Read and respond to community forums and emails
Requirements:
Passion of retesting with an understanding of QA methodologies
Quality Assurance experience in the video games industry is preferred
Working knowledge of iOS and Android devices
Ability to write reproducible bug reports
Knowledge and understanding of mobile free-to-play games
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Mobile Game experience a plus
At least 1-2 years mobile testing experience is a must

Sr. Producer, Mobile Games

Working independently, the Sr. Producer, Mobile Games oversees the creation and operation of mobile games by external developers through Kongregate's mobile publishing program. The Senior Producer oversees the work 3rd party game developers and also serves as an individual contributing designer and analyst. The desired business objective for this role is to ship and operate hit games for mobile and to help the GameStop/Kongregate organization achieve its overall business objectives. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor as needed by either. Nearly all routine activities are completed without a supervisor's advance approval; many non-routine activities will require some supervisor consultation. This role is generally characterized by working levels of scope and complexity, and a moderate level of independent decision making.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Be the business owner of games created and shipped by 3rd party developers
Lead game projects from concept through implementation and post-launch iterative optimization
Develop and share best practices and playbook documents to help improve processes and designs within the team
