Producer, Mobile Games

The Producer, Mobile Games manages the development and operation of mobile games by external developers through Kongregate's mobile publishing program. The Producer oversees the work of 3rd party game developers and at times also serves as an individual contributing designer and analyst. The goal of this role is to ship and operate hit games for mobile and to help the GameStop/Kongregate organization achieve its overall business objectives, taking games through test markets and global release on mobile platforms. This position requires high levels of independent decision making with some supervisor oversight in the areas of 3rd party communication and overall product direction.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Be the owner of multiple games created and released by 3rd party developers
Lead game projects from concept through development, test markets and post-launch optimization with some levels of managerial oversight throughout
Identify, track, and report meaningful performance/progress metrics, and support the team with achieving performance goals
Ensure stakeholders throughout the organization are kept updated on any changes that affect the schedule and overall business results for the company
Work with Senior Producers and upper management on higher profiles title to better enhance project management ability, analytics skills and overall business acumen
Remain abreast of consumer trends and industry-related best practices

Software Engineer

At Kongregate, the Software Engineer will be part of the Platform Engineering team responsible for feature design/development, maintenance and production support of an online game community supporting 25M+ monthly users. This established team is looking to expand to help progress these responsibilities.

Software Engineers at Kongregate will work with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, MySQL/Aurora, AWS, and Puppet. They will be responsible for the customer facing website, developer facing APIs, and tools used internally by site admins.

Qualifications:
Strong Ruby on Rails development background
Exposure to JavaScript MVC frameworks

Marketing Analyst

Working independently, the Marketing Analyst will work on our marketing team, maximizing the business success of our portfolio of web and mobile games through marketing efforts. The principal business outcome for the position will be analyzing data and building recommendations to improve all aspects of free-to-play games, from the features that drive monetization and retention, to the analysis necessary to drive profitable paid user acquisition This position will work with producers to help facilitate a deeper understanding of how users are behaving in their games, and provide them with market insights and game features designed to improve retention and monetization. This position will work with our marketing team to analyze marketing campaigns, player retention and virality, as well as help guide budget allocations across networks. The role will work with our marketing vendors to optimize creatives and campaigns across their publisher base. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor as needed by either. The associate will work on a wide range of marketing programs including paid user web acquisition, email marketing and lifecycle programs, social media, PR, shows/events, and will also be responsible for assisting with mobile marketing programs. The position will review large volumes of data on tight deadlines, and work closely with internal and external partners to coordinate essential timelines and deliver flawless customer programs. Associate may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor's advance approval. Most activities are completed without a supervisor's advance approval.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Coordinate all aspects of online paid user acquisition programs including, but not limited to, the following: new program set up and development; acquisition buying on CPA, CPC, and CPM; trafficking new ad campaigns and creative; campaign optimization and ROI analysis; and creative build management, testing, and reporting
Collect and analyze game data and provide recommendations and feature designs to the production team that will improve retention and monetization
