HR Director

Kongregate is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director who is people-focused, motivated and organized. This role will build and oversee the internal HR department and will provide support for the design, implementation, communication and administration of company Human Resources initiatives. It will also provide consulting and leadership on a variety of generalist HR topics.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Build out HR department, policies, procedures, and documentation. Assess current policy/procedures and correct by implementing new scalable ones that align with company’s current and future growth

Staff Accountant

Kongregate is looking for a Staff Accountant who pays great attention to detail, is able to deliver results under deadline and works effectively cross-functionally in a quickly growing company. This position will compute and prepare data for journal entries, general ledger, and related financial statements, and perform day-to-day general accounting functions. This position will report to the CFO.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
Manages accounts payable functions including but not limited to verifying invoices, expense reports, check requests, and purchase requisitions; entering data into accounts payable system; and processing weekly check runs
Assists with accounts receivable functions including but not limited to applying payments to appropriate accounts, monthly invoicing, reconciling customer accounts, and handling customer inquiries
Prepares monthly game developer royalty reports and payment files
Generates and files monthly financial reports
Develops, analyzes, and prepares periodic financial statements for timely distribution to management

Customer Support Representative

Kongregate is looking for a Customer Support Representative to provide support for our mobile and web-based games, including but not excluded to Animation Throwdown: the Quest for Cards, Office Space, Idle Profits, and Bit Heroes. Customer Support Representatives respond to technical, billing, and general product questions via the Customer Support Ticketing system, by writing individual responses and directing customers to useful knowledge-base articles in our self-help portal. In addition, they may be required to monitor chat and in-game messages and take appropriate disciplinary action as necessary.

Product Manager

As a Product Manager on the Kongregate mobile publishing team, your mission is to maximize the business success of our portfolio of mobile games. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing data and building recommendations to improve all aspects of free-to-play games, from the features that drive monetization and retention, to the analysis necessary to drive profitable paid user acquisition. You will work with Producers to help them gain a deeper understanding of how users are behaving in their games. You will also work with our marketing team to analyze marketing campaigns, player retention and virality to help guide budget allocations across networks.

The ideal candidate is an avid game player, understands mobile game design and product best practices, and has an inherent love of analytics and data.

Responsibilities:
Prepare projections for game evaluations and reviews at different stages in the lifecycle of a game (test markets, launch, live).
Proactively monitor game KPIs and work with the Producers to prioritize the game needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to monitor the health of current games and optimize game systems and features.
Own and provide feature design recommendations to our portfolio of games with a focus on business priorities and impact of top KPIs (retention, monetization, virality, etc.).
Support all recommendations with a blend of industry experience, data/analysis, and portfolio trends.
Collect, clean, and analyze game data to uncover trends and derive new insights into specific games.
Guide developers through SDK integration and assist with the design and implementation of schemas for tracking game events and data.
Work with 3rd party developers to effectively meet their needs, push back when necessary while maintaining a strong relationship.
Educate and train new hires and junior team members.
Juggle multiple high priority games at any given time.
Requirements:

Analyze game systems and features.
Based on analytical results, communicate new insights and work with the Producers and Product Managers to provide recommendations.
