Temporary Customer Support Representative

Kongregate is looking for a Temporary Customer Support Representative to provide support for our mobile and web-based games including but not limited to Animation Throwdown: the Quest for Cards, BattleHand, Pocket Politics and Raid Brigade. Customer Support Representatives respond to technical, billing, and general product questions via the Customer Support Ticketing system, by writing individual responses and directing customers to useful knowledgebase articles in our self-help portal. In addition, they may be required to monitor chat and in-game messages and take appropriate disciplinary action as necessary.

Producer, Mobile Games

The Producer, Mobile Games manages the development and operation of mobile games by external developers through Kongregate's mobile publishing program. The Producer oversees the work of 3rd party game developers and at times also serves as an individual contributing designer and analyst. The goal of this role is to ship and operate hit games for mobile and to help the GameStop/Kongregate organization achieve its overall business objectives, taking games through test markets and global release on mobile platforms. This position requires high levels of independent decision making with some supervisor oversight in the areas of 3rd party communication and overall product direction.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities:
Be the owner of multiple games created and released by 3rd party developers
Lead game projects from concept through development, test markets and post-launch optimization with some levels of managerial oversight throughout

Software Engineer

At Kongregate, the Software Engineer will be part of the Platform Engineering team responsible for feature design/development, maintenance and production support of an online game community supporting 25M+ monthly users. This established team is looking to expand to help progress these responsibilities.

Software Engineers at Kongregate will work with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, MySQL/Aurora, AWS, and Puppet. They will be responsible for the customer facing website, developer facing APIs, and tools used internally by site admins.

Branding Marketing Manager

Working independently, the Branding Marketing Manager will manage and optimize game campaigns across several network and channels, including social media lead programs, as well as lead the branding initiative at Kongregate. Associates will work with marketing vendors and partners to launch campaigns across their publisher base and build advertising plans that align with the individual game goals, work with game producers to set budgets and acquisition plans, and work with developers to provide efficacy of spend updates and educate them on marketing results and process. The associate will work on a wide range of marketing programs including social influencer programs, paid mobile & web user acquisition, email marketing and lifecycle programs, social media, PR, shows/events, and will also assist with managing third party agencies. This role will work closely and collaboratively with the publishing team in order to maintain productive relationships between Kongregate and our partners. The main objective is owning and developing multi-channel social growth campaigns. Associate will interact with his or her supervisor as needed by either. Most activities are completed without a supervisor's advance approval.
