Based in San Francisco, GameStop Media’s Digital Ad Operations Manager will work closely with the sales and site teams to traffic, manage, and support online advertising campaigns. This is a detail oriented position where a person who is pushy with a smile can really excel. GameStop Media includes GameStop.com, GameInformer.com and Kongregate.com. Combined they reach 11.7 million video game enthusiasts. The Ad Operations Manager will work with advertisers like Electronic Arts, Sega, Scion, Warner Brothers, Axe, Sony Home Pictures and Microsoft and their ad agencies.

As a Product Manager on the Kongregate mobile team, your mission is to maximize the business success of our portfolio of mobile games. Your primary responsibility will be analyzing data and building recommendations to improve all aspects of free-to-play games, from the features that drive monetization and retention, to the analysis necessary to drive profitable paid user acquisition. You will work with our producers to help them gain a deeper understanding of how users are behaving in their games, and provide them with market insights and game features designed to improve retention and monetization. You will work with our marketing team to analyze marketing campaigns, player retention and virality and help guide budget allocations across networks. You will work with our marketing vendors to optimize creatives and campaigns across their publisher base.
The ideal candidate is an avid game player, understands mobile game design and product best practices, and has an inherent love of analytics and data.

As a Data Analyst on Kongregate’s mobile team, your mission is to guide our external developers to implement cutting-edge free-to-play mechanics and game design backed up by state-of-the-art game analytics. You will work with our external development partners to implement telemetry, balance game economies, design best-in-class free-to-play mechanics and use data to optimize game systems and features. You will combine the best in qualitative and quantitative game analysis and research to support the creation of amazing mobile game user experiences. You will drive the improvement of key game metrics and performance indicators, including player progression, retention and monetization. You will also assist the marketing team by doing analysis of traffic sources, countries, devices and other relevant marketing data and make recommendations on how to achieve our ROI objectives by creating reliable systems for determining customer lifetime value.
