there should be some sort of system that can upgrade gems by progress. like adding a copper to a gold would make it 1/8th of the purple one. and say if 1/2 of the purple one and another 1/2 it makes the orange one.

Make a batch of patty's, take orders, wait till they are done then make a hamburger.Order,hamburger,order hamburger,repeat.Every 5th order make a new half batch.
