Mathematics and logic grad student this coming spring (yeah, already have the BS and BA in them, respectively). Been gaming since the black-and-white arcade/non-illustrated text adventure days, own three full-size arcade games and most systems released between 1976 and 2000. Not too fond of current games, and find the “casual” games of Kongregate and the handheld app developers to be closer to the aesthetic of classic gaming.

But, for the love of God, would developers please quit riffing on the “tower defense” concept? It’s just lazy game design and development anymore.
