Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Also, please join us in the Kongregate Discord for all the latest Kongregate news!

I see you're new to flash, and don't understand anything(you said something with actionscript 5).
But just keep trying, follow tutorials, and then you'll be able to find out more things yourself(like i'm doing now). to make a button(like Bob the Button)
first press ctrl + n(or go to file -> new)to make a new file. There will probably be alot of things, but for now just click actionscript 2.0.
then draw a button.
then select the whole drawing and do rightclick-convert to symbol(or press f8), and chose the
button option.
if you did it right, when you select it there should appear a blue lined box around it.
now right click it, and go to actions(or press f9).
there's where you have to put actionscript codes. put this on it, i'll give explanation for it too.
on(release){nextFrame();
}
explanation underneath!
on (release) {nextFrame();}
if - you release mouse button - go to the next frame.
