Game Backstory, Written by Precarious
...he contemplates the tragedy of his existence. His wife was murdered by the golf pro, but he was blamed for it. Rather than go to prison, he plans to jump off the bridge.
Just before he leaps, another man jumps off the bridge. Noble to the last, our stricken protagonist leaps off after him. Unfortunately, the bridge was over a mile deep gorge on Mars (it turns out this is in the future--TWIST), so he can't use the It's a Wonderful Life ploy after all.
Fortunately, gravity on Mars is weak, and the leap does not kill him. However, he breaks most of his bones, and in a delusional state, lives that last, desperate leap over and over, burning the image into his brain.
As it turns out, it was LIFE that was literally impossible :(

Stop complaining about the game being impossible just because you're bad at it. Like everything in life, mastering this game takes lots of effort and practice. If you're persistent like me, you might one day be like me to maybe make the jump.
