I have been an on and off player of Achaea for 5 years and it is a very addictive game if you give it a try. Sure: it has the telnet layout and the pure text approach that not many people can cope with, but if you Roleplay and use your imagination the MUD features rival with the high-edge graphics of several other fantasy games: just the fact that the entire world and its governing cities were ALL built by players like us and the possibility that everyone can, one day, become a deity and literally command entire armies and orders of players makes this game very special to me. Next time you try this game, try shapping its 12-year continuous history - after all, all the stories of its history were made by folks just like you and me!

I'm on firefox 3 in a Macintosh with the needed Java and Sun and it no notes appear.
