In both games, she seems to have been at least on the premises the last time she was alive. It kind of looks like a Human body lying on its side. The dog also looks like it might be looking at him for it too, even if it can’t quite understand what he did, if that’s the case.

so i don’t know how to start this so i will just get into it
about 7 years ago i first came across your game company of myself at that point in my life i had no friends i could just barely understand english well just enough to understand what other people were saying in the chat
and because i had no friends the pc my parents bought and my 250 kbps internet were all i had
months after i found kong i finally found your game i was 12 and wanted to die but when i played your game and read the story i felt warm the music made me feel happy a feeling i missed it
it me see people i didn’t realize were there and i had my first friend he was a wonderful person but like me shunned out the groups of friend we got along great i started spending less and less time online and more with him
two years pass by and we realize that he had a heart problem he starts travelling a lot and we spend less time together and a few months after that he died at hospital and that’s when i just went back to being alone in my room wanting to die
at this point my english was very good and i could understand much better
i spent again a lot of time on kong and this time i came across your wonderful piece of work fixation to me it was more than just a game it was comfort and warmth and it again got me to a place where i’m happy
to this day i still have the soundtracks and both games in my bookmarks to listen to or play whenever i don’t feel so well and it just gets me to a place where i can appreciate beauty
i just wanted to thank you and DVG for assisting me through a lot of thick i hope you keep making works of art and please pass my thanks on to DVG i hope to you two all the best

Hey I played your game “The Company of Myself” and I gotta admit it’s actually pretty good. I beat it in like 15-20 minutes and I had a blast. The mechanics are super simple, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun using them to advance!

I just wanted to say I hardly ever go on kong but I just remembered played “The Company of Myself” back in 7th or 8th grade and I remember loving the mechanics and the storyline lowkey relatable since middle school was no fun but also kinda confusing to me back then and I wanted to see how I felt about the storyline now and I wanted to say I absolutely loved it but I played fixation just today (since it wasn’t out back then) and this game, much like the pretentious game series, really got me emotional to the point of tearing up, creating a story with such lovable and caring characters and seeing the other sides of the stories. Although its “just a game” I’m sure I’m going to be thinking for ages about Jack and Kathryn and human nature. Thanks for this great game!
