When it come to common language refering something that is not releated to physics “quantum leap” use used with the meaning of “significant change”. Sometimes I just hate if when ppl can only see the object in one perspective. Often that perspective is what is conventional for that person. sometimes scientific (and other words too) words have altered meaning in vernacular. That is why words like “quantum leap” are used in completely different way that what the original use in physics (sciense) is. No I did not come up with this. It’s commonly used with many words in the world. Some of the altered meanings are even official. There for what you said is not entirely true. show less![]()
