20% of men are Hebephiles meaning they are attracted to females 11-14. Even if we cut that in half and say that 50% of them are not seriously affected by modern consent laws, that still leaves 20 million men in the US alone. 40 million American parents have a son living anywhere between a subpar and unfulfilling life to a downright miserable existence. To cut out such a large portion of the population from participating in the game of love because of feminist ideology is a travesty.
There is a reason the age of consent has always hovered right around 10–12 all around the world for all of human history. People got along just fine making their own decisions about how to live their personal lives for thousands of years without the threat of state violence.

We should lower the AoC back down to the much more natural number of 12, and allow 12–17 YOs to bring their partner (if 18+) up on charges if they feel exploited.
