Hello. I’ve seen you recently coming into the Valley, now, I know if you go in to check that all is okay, it usually is. But, early-late evening (UK time anyway), you get the odd bunch of people that like to mess about spamming or swearing. It doen’t last THAT long, but It’s starting to happen quite frequently. Please could you or another moderator maybe stay there pretty much permanently, because I have seen like 2 sometime 3 moderators stationed in one room. Thanks, hyper the noob :)

Hi NorthernPolarity! I’m a fan of your Protector guides at COCAK, and I think I’ve discovered an almost flawless way to beat the “Evil” Throne on Protector 2. I only lost 6 lives, and I could have done it with losing just 1 life if I didn’t feel so frugal. I don’t have a snapshot, but I’ll explain what I did:

Power-ups: Same as yours, except I used fire/energy/poison focusing and took out Quickspell. Since I had 22 lives remaining, it might be wise to replace the Hardy group with the Scouts group.

Strategy: I used exclusive mages for this level. You know how there are some spaces that the enemies go over twice? Those spaces are important and should be counted as two spaces. When placing your mages, look at how many spaces the mage can reach. Place your mages at the places that can cover at least 12 spaces. Do so from the end to the beginning, and don’t upgrade anything until all mages are placed. If done properly, there should be 58 mages total, and they should be done before/during the beginning of the group of fire-weak enemies (around wave 6).

Now start upgrading from end to start. You’re going to use a mix of fire/energy/poison mages. I used 26 fire, 20 energy, and 12 poison, but it shouldn’t matter too much. Use a mixture of all four spell types, and do it in a way that can make the enemies’ health bars white most of the time. Use more Cripples, since they don’t have a stacking issue. Use Generalists, Destructors, etc. you know the drill.

Focus on upgrading the mages that the enemies are currently weak against, and switch your focus when the enemies change elements.

Once you’ve reached the second group of fire-weak enemies (around wave 20), stop upgrading the fire mages. Once all other mages are maxed out, start building warriors on places with at least 4 reachable spaces (counting the doubled spaces twice).

If done properly, you shouldn’t lose more than one live on any level (I didn’t lose any lives on the infamous lvls 9/11). The final boss took one life.
