Yeah, it was one of, if not my favourite game with an impossible badge, possibly because I was with it ever since the early alpha stages which were about a year before the release, so I got a feel for some of the levels early on.

There were a few levels that irked me, but surprisingly neither of the final bonus levels on the two difficulties were particularly hard in my mind.

Yeah, I’m disappointing that it took your departure to let me finally do it, but I’ve been trying for so long it’s still a victory to me nonetheless. I don’t know if you remember, but you said “You will almost certainly have passed me by Christmas,” last year. It took me almost seven months to actually do it.

Yeah, randomly showing up here, but I think I have something to add.

The points per level does rise quite dramatically at level 50, it’s over 1,000 per level at that point, and it only gets worse, I think it nears or surpasses 2,000 per level around the 60s (it’s been over a year since I even leveled up, so I honestly can’t remember), but what I do know is that if the cap was raised by even 10 levels, it would be about an extra 25,000 points to go from 65 to 75, so just be glad you don’t have to race for that any time soon.

lol yeah, “level 65,” “Procyonpi,” and “anytime soon” are not three phrases that fit into the same sentence very well. Unless there’s a “not” thrown in there somewhere, preferably before “anytime soon.”

You should definitely play that game some time, though. It’s pure genius. Although the superbosses are a bit of a joke now that people have figured out how to abuse spirit graft and runic rhapsody. The solo arenas, however…

I have played it. I loved Mardek 1 and Mardek 2, but I just haven’t had quite enough time to go and play Mardek 3 yet. But I’ll get around to it sometime. Hopefully after I get the remaining 25 medium badges.

1. The scoring system messes with my perfectionism. I’m always worried about the 3% off or so I’m inevitably getting on some slow task. 2. It has little to no in-depth thinking, just a lot of stuff going on at once. and 3. There’s a lot of relatively slow / awkward dragging stuff around and clicking inbetween screens. The game doesn’t draw me in at all. A system of hotkeys (at least to switch between screens, and probably some other stuff) would do a great deal to speed up gameplay, but partially I just don’t like the concept.
