There are a variety of balance issues with Tower of the Archmage:
1. Cloud of Anything But Damage
2. Spells that increase spell power
3. Heal spell + HP-cost glow removal
4. Clouds
5. HP costs
6. Clouds of Dodging

Hi, I just experienced a bug with Tower of the Archmage where I was stacking FP while resting or using any rune which led me to die and lose all my progress :(
I went up to 900+ FP, not sure what happened but this is a very unpleasant bug.
Hope you can find out what caused it and fix it!

Not a bug dude. You cooked yourself in magic backlash. You’re not supposed to stack FP. It will do anything from transform you to destroy or heal you. It’s a quirk of overusing the magic stuff.

Hey your game is amazing! Great job! It’s somewhat easy to make some op spells ( cough 60dmg,9 tiles, 1fp cough) but I guess that’s hard to deal when you give the players so much freedom :p I would like to point out one thing though. Well, I started playing your game today and I have to say its the best browser-based game I have ever played; that is NOT hyperbole. I also approve of the reference made with the Rat King (he was also the cause of my first death, incidentally). Help me understand something… I can’t figure out how I lock in a move. When moving around the map with wsad I can either cancel, hit spells, etc. But I can’t even move my character. Not explained in the tutorial or if it is, it isn’t clear. >_< I’m very frustrated.

I can’t get through the tutorial, that’s the problem. WASD doesn’t let me move around, with or without cursor.

Sorry about the delay. Does WASD work when moving the cursor? Have you tried moving with the arrow keys instead?

2 things concerning the Blood rune: 1st, I am impressed that Fluxfeed and Blood cannot be combined to get ‘free’ spells. A lot of your players would love to not just “finish” at floor 25. In fact, we wish for endless grind after beating the game so we can hoard as many runes as we like. Any chance that we get an update for this?
