Amazing game. Great sound and obstacles, checker pattern helps see the obstacles. Reticle and HUD great. Soundscape creates tension and momentum, very good.
Hopefully gets bugfixed and released for $2 or something.
Not sure if this a glitch or intended behavior, but press E or Q 3 times in fast successions will make the ball keep spinning. pressing the other direction will make it stop
Is there any chance to get this as a downloadable game? I like using it to test new mice and I won’t be able to play it without internet if I go up north.
Got a glitch second time, did not get it in the Unity version: easy, about one second (on high speed) of empty tonnel, then one second of empty space, repeated indefinitely. Not touching controls gets me to 1500.
at first I thought I broke the game by going backwards, but looking at these other comments and shouts, it seems like the map gen being broken isn’t my fault at all… phew anyway it’s definitely not fixed, because I encountered it today.
Can we have more badges for Accelerator? I got a few i thought up (sustain 1500 speed at any difficulty for 1 (Like a Bullet), 3 (Daredevil), 5 (Speed Junkie), and 10 (This ain’t Ballistics) minutes, one for playing chicken with the sliding walls in the blue tunnels (20 times), Go from 100 to 1500 in one go on any difficulty).

That’s way too long, I’d consider 3 badges, one per difficulty, for doing 2 minutes at 1500. Like a Bullet for easy, Speed Junkie for medium, and This IS ballistics for hard.

I continued to fly at 1500 speed for about 2 minutes, yet, the speed never got higher. I also noticed that the last 10 or so of 1400 went VERY slowly. Is this your way of saying that we all suck and will never pass…

If you make Accelerator 2 a full indie game and put it on steam greenlight, I (as well as many others) would pay good money for it. That shit is addicting and you got talent. Consider working hard on the sequel and selling it.
Accelerator is literally the best game I have ever played. I’ve been addicted to it. Wow.
One question: Where did you get the sound effects? They’re amazing! Are they public domain? I’d love to use them in a film!
Yes I am! I’ve been making loads of stuff in Unity since I did Accelerator, but can’t really decide on a new game etc. Maybe a new/better version of Accelerator.
it’d be awesome if it did, but i do know there are applications that allow things like the Rift to function in place of a mouse, so you could use that,
