You are not wrong. But the thing is the data is all still there. So someone either intentionally or accidentally removed the feed history. Since it is still working for any new events/messages, my assumption here is that the feed is not pulled form events, but rather a redundant/second table that is populated at the point in time each event happened. So, it seems someone blew away the redundant table that held the feed specifically. It is just sort of a shame that it was coded that way, and that Long doesn’t feel the feed history was worth saving/fixing.

While nothing lasts forever, I am also sad to see Kongregate seemingly reduced to what it is now. Hopefully those 12 years on Kongregate influenced you for the better. If so, then it wasn’t wasted time.

Assuming you are connected to the Kong API (your plug is green), then the issue is likely with the developer (or at worst, the developer has to work with Kongregate to fix the issue.

So you need to contact the developer for any in-game issues (including buying premium content, currency, or items with Kreds).

I am not sure, I don’t play that game. However, if you link your Kong account on one game, I want to say you do it for them all (I might be misremembering though). So try downloading any other Kong game and link it there. If that does not work you might want to contact the developers via their support method.

I do not have the access to be able to award shiny Kongpanions. Sorry.

I always suggest going to your profile or Kongpanion page, then from there the loading the game that is the Badge of the Day. Then, after you believe you got the BotD to hit “back” and check your profile page/Kongpanion page to make sure that the checkmark is there for today’s game.

Certainly the devs can add anti-cheating countermeasures to their games if they want to. However, it might also be that someone just use HTML commands to send high scores directly to the Kong API. If this is what was done, they don’t even need to load the game to send the scores in (they just inspect the HTML code and use a debugger to send data directly to the Kong API). In this case, the developers would be unable to do anything to avoid this.

It took you a whole week just to erase her scores after checking meticulously that these scores were not possible. Seriously. We shouldn’t even have to report that! You should be able to detect this type of cheat before it actually happens because she clearly hacked kongregate! It shows a blatant breach in your security system! Aren’t you afraid that if a hacker has bypassed your security system it could be because he’s an inside man, maybe even a moderator? But no, you keep condoning that because you just don’t care. Come on, just check drakenlords for instance, check any game there is cheat from her part, what are you waiting for? You’re really getting me on my nerves. I think I just lost all patience with you.

Most Kongregate chat rooms were shut down last year. However, if you are talking about profile shouts (which are not chats), as I mentioned, you need to report those on the person’s profile (for example, I just reported Nero121 for what he posted on my wall about other players). I have no visibility to what you report (the admins work those). I have no ability to take action on these reports.

The moderators that are left have no ability to ban/silence anyone anymore. We can’t mod profiles. We can only take action on posts made in the forum we mod for. Period.

If someone is cheating in a game, you need to report it to the devs to have that stopped. High scores come from the game. The admins can hide scores that they think are cheating results…. but that doesn’t stop the actual cheating or does anything about the in-game user. The admins have zero access to do anything in a developer’s game.

I am sorry you are having issues here, but this isn’t something I can help with. I can only tell you what you can do to get your issue fixed. If you have already done this, then great. You did the right thing. Now you just have to wait on the admins to take action. If you want, you can also follow up with an email to support@kongregate.com.

Well, thank you for everything, at least you’re the only one answering. I’d like to apologize for the harsh words I had towards you Pip. I’m just mad cheating and bad behaviour can go unpunished while you have no power anymore to ban or even delete the kong scores. It just says how deep kongregate has fallen alas. Sorry if I pushed you, I just loved this site so much, it’s been more than a decade that I am here having great moments and I’m so sad it’ll end like this. People in the forums are talking about finding new sites but it’s this one that I love. Besides, most of the games I like are only on kongregate or on mobile and I don’t have internet on my phone. Even though communication here is virtual and even moreso since the removal of chatrooms, I’ll miss quite a bunch of people that I know I won’t be able to keep contact with. You’re the last guardian of the temple Pip, good luck protecting it till the end. Sorry again and farewell.

Ok, so there are three possibilities: either this is an automatic response, or you’re really trying to be blind and/or persuade yourself there is no problem at all because you do condone cheating or with all due respect you have a serious cognitive problem. It’s been more than a week that we explain to you multiple times a day all with our own words that this concerns kongregate scores which means you and kongregate moderators are the one responsibles for the problem. Also chat insults are still there, it’s not in game insults it’s in my chat, trolls in yours as well (just see Nero121 above, he also spams “your mom” to everyone). Frankly, just tell me you have a mental illness, I’ll feel more kindness towards you and kongregate because as of now it just seems that you’re really in favor of cheating and insulting other people.

Sorry, I don’t have a good answer here. I myself am not able to get many/most Flash games on this site to work (all I get is a white screen after directing SuperNova to “play game”. I can get Cube Escape games" to work, but not The Last Stand.

I would suggest that you post in the forums or perhaps message getsupernova who is the developer of SuperNova, as I understand it.
