The game developement is underway! We are inching closer to completion. I have decided to not name the game PC Pong, and I am open for suggestions for a new name. The reason an update hasn’t been posted in a few days is because I have been trying to put music into the game, but it’s been so far a fail. Nevertheless, the game will still be awesome!

-Combined movement codes for the ball. This allows for two new features…
-Games can go to multiple points!
-Added feature where after someone scores, paddles and ball reset to their starting positions and wait a few seconds before it starts again.
*Fixed issue where automatic paddle “spazzes” when it tries to move.
*The automatic paddle now resets to its correct position

-Opposing paddle now moves on its own in 1-Player mode.

-Begin work on 1-Player mode
-Menu now supports 1 and 2 Player Modes
*Paddles now can’t go off the edge of the screen

-Paddles move slower, but smoother
-Made paddles multiple colors. This has two purposes: An awesome look, and the next big addition…
-Depending on where the ball hits the paddle, the balls direction will change. This does not sound like much, but it is a feature on Atari Pong and makes the game more difficult. You’ll see what I mean when the game is released.

- Added a back button on the instructions page
- Better bouncing off paddles (won’t go back same way it came!)
- Added feature so that when ball hits the paddle, the ball’s speed increases
- Buttons on all pages increase in size when moused over

  • Fixed issue where ball “spazzed” when hitting paddle, making you lose
