played ebf4 through on epic and only had to grind before godcat. you need to wear the right clothes and use the right spells. clothes with stun, thunder resist, I’ve forgotten the others but auto revive is always good. Attack with dispel, arrow rain (+bow from the alchemist from greenwood, will be extremely useful until goddcat) thunder storm and air strike/ unleash (those 6 shots from lance with thunder weapon + buff). always buff phy def and mag def. evasion probably is also a goob idea. if you still have trouble then go on the walktrough for the game.
