We looked into this today as soon as we were alerted to it.
The issue was caused by our disc spaces filling up on servers. This has now been resolved, and things should be back to normal. Apologies for any inconvenience caused!

Right now our only way of improving the situation is by the system admin in charge to be able to get on and temporarily cleaning a few things up.
But even that has proved to be really awful right now, as our system admin is bordering Ukraine, and has had awful availability the past week, as they are spending time having to help family/refugees.

Again, we realize how convenient this can all sound as excuses, but it is the honest situation, and if you’d like to hear more about it and if/when you can expect more permanent solutions to be implemented
we suggest to join the discord, as it’s the best way to lay out a lot of information for all to be able to reach. We will be sending out an in-game announcement as well to make everyone aware of this.

All this said, we understand how awful this experience and non-handling of the issue is for you as a player, and we can’t ask for more than your understanding/patience.
And if these issues are causing you too much grief to continue playing, it might be the best decision for you – and perhaps keep an eye on the situation potentially improving in the following weeks and checking back then.

While we’re very disheartened to see that happen, if ultimately the issues are causing you the game to not be fun – we can understand that, and we want to be honest about the situation.

Just sorted this out for you.

YOu had this bug where somehow 2 of the techs end up in the same slot (in your case CHQ 3rd loadout), and I just had to put it in an empty slot -> as otherwise every update to inventory throws a “duplicate slot error”.

If this happens again, you can try switching all slots around yourself and see if there’s a “2nd tech” hiding somewhere there, and move it away to fix it yourself.

When I have some time for some updates, I’ll try to make it so that there’s a visual cue that there are 2 techs in one slot, so you guys can quickly move them around yourself and fix this issue.

It’s not the error of the user that’s for sure, it’s just the way the game works with server requests, it’s prone to some bugs like this sometimes, and unfortunately we cant’ fix it easily, especially as we can’t really work on the game lately to keep our company going :/

But for sure, always happy to help resolve these issues as quickly as possible!

We’ve improved server issues vastly on that day, and it definitely correlated with the amount of progress saving and other issues.

So those bugs should be far less often now as well ;)

Definitely not – the game is temporariyl down for everyone -> here is the copy from our news:

War Clicks is currently down on all websites – unfortunately the issue is of such nature where we have practically zero direct control, and have no other option but to wait for some 3rd parties involved to resolve this. The issue is related to some payment issues of some database clusters (which we use for cost, performance & reliability reasons) and while they are already resolving the issue as we speak, unfortunately there’s some bureaucracy and support involved in this and means, that unfortunately it will likely take up to several days to get this resolved – if I am to guess from similar past situations, the downtime is very likely to last at least 2 days -> hopefully less, but unlikely.

We are extremely sorry for this inconvenience – it is unacceptable and we realize how annoying something like this is (it is even more so for us), but given the situation we hope you can have some patience and understanding until it gets resolved. Once we are back up we will try to reimburse you in several ways to make up for the lost time as much as possible!

I just checked your game data, and it all seems fine. Probably what happened is that while you were playing your session expired (can happen randomly sometimes) and it showed a new guest account.

But likely if you refreshed the game you saw everything properly again in game, right?

In all honesty I have no good idea when we could do either. Our company situation just doesn’t allow us to focus on anything but our new game for the time being, if we want to keep going and survive as a company.

War Clicks makes us minimum revenues these days, and AR practically nothing. So we have to focus on what can make us money and keep us going, which unfortunately both WC and AR are not good choices for the time being.

Once we can release an Early Access version of our new game next month, we should be able to devote some time to some urgent updates to WarClicks, but not super much.

As for AR, the way how things are going It’s very unlikely we’ll be doing any updates there in the near future. More likely would be that we’d instead work a new “area raiders” game in the future (or rework the current one and fix some of its core issues it has and why it didn’t stick well with players) and release that one, and we could then help compensate any old AR players in that new game.

Financially AR was just a flop for us, and especially while we are in “survival mode” with our company for the next 3-6 months we simply can’t devote time to anything like that.

I really hope our new game does well, and give us some breathing room, in which case we could potentially do some more substantial WC updates, as well having a slim chance to be able to do something on AR as well.

I’m sorry as this is not the answer you probably wanted to hear, but it is honest and representative of our situation, and I don’t want to give you false promises we can’t keep to!

Not sure what exactly you mean by “what happened with spoil points”, do the convert rewards with them not work for you anymore?

As for new BC, I believe Land units production boost is better for “early game” (i.e. up to 1e100), but Air are slightly better for points after that- for longer runs. So I’d typically go with Air.

As for the perk, privatization MX is hands down the most powerful right now for long runs.

Thanks a lot. But I found few things what I not like. They are connected. So, investors are so high price. Really, I need play like 2 years to get them all. And I play, and not get them all yet. So, it’s my dream. But what the?! In Boot Camp 2 I can buy them again, like golden version for all, which one I have. So… in Boot Camp 3 I can buy next version, in №4 new one, and new one. So, I never collect them all, but even if I get them all, I can’t hold same level for them. Next one I found, that after I start Boot Camp, I can’t get gold. Just “nice”. Very high price for investors, and we can upgrade them in each new Boot Camp, but later we stop get gold and so, finish. In my opinion gold must be x2 now. I mean more then we get. Because I think no one reach max renown in first Boot Camp. And so, gold is missed. Not cool. Yeah, x2 research points it’s awesome, because now I need like 500 or more for one upgrade. So, it’s make me a little sad. Also daily mission, win one battle is not working. How many battles I not complete, it’s 0% completed. So, fix or better remove this mission.

The investors actually only upgrade to a second level, so there’s no new ones after you reach i.e. BC 3.

We give quite a ton of gold out (especially compared to other games), and it adds up over time. Especially as you start going to new boot camps over and over, those 8k gold from renown levels adds up very quickly. You’ll be able to get that gold 22x times, which adds up to at least 176k alone from this

It does take a while to get all of these, but there’s a reason for that – people who play that long want new things to collect/get, and we added this second lineup so players had something to collect with all that gold from new BCs when we added the new BC feature last year.

Hmm regarding the daily mission, one question – were you in farm mode while trying to complete that mission, or finishing battles normally?

I have the same version and I get no issues here, but I’ve seen IE have weird issues before on the same version.

And sorry if this is a stupid question, but you have the “unlimited autoclicker” bought with gold, or just the upgradable ones? Because the regular ones have a cooldown, and need to currently be restarted every X seconds (30-120 seconds, depending on which on you have)

Definitely – it will be sped up once that is done. This will be one of our priority February updates, that will probably be release in the second half of the month.

Still, I would say the “Meta” is to start new BCs when you can – unless your overall goal is to reach e308, or collect the higher gold rewards, in which case it of course makes sense to keep persisting :)

How will it be done exactly? Will you increase the multipliers of existing upgrades, reduce the gaps between existing upgrades, or will you simply add whole new upgrades? Either way, I hope it won’t require a deploy for the new balance to take effect when the update comes because it takes a long time to start earning contractors after a deploy.

The only/best way we could handle it here probably, would be that upon reaching it, you get “1 of some currency” that gives you some additional boost, i.e. to DPC

Right now, when you reach 1e308, some things will simply bug/stop -i.e. units will cycle indefinitely but you won’t get any new gains, you can’t keep deploying/privatizing anymore.

Here you essentially have to start a new boot camp – but not get anything special for reaching it. So some sort of extra reward/bonus for reaching it would help sovle that already
