I don’t know why the game suddenly stopped working. It hasn’t been updated in several years now since i’ve stopped supporting it for quite a while. Since i haven’t touched it, i can’t tell why it no longer works as it once did. Could be a flasher player update, could be a backend Php update that broke something.

There was a problem with the website that sends out emails. It should be fixed for HD3. The forum is seperate and i’m still working on fixing that problem.

So far these are my favorite CCGs. The graphics are nice and the games are well balanced.I like the way each race has a different playstyles.My favorite so far is a Human-Ca’anian Alliance.The lack of premium features is also a good point.Keep up the good work-I love your games and am waiting for the next one.

One possible cause is that your settings for the flash player include a limited amount of harddisk space for savegames. This seems to be calculated on per-site basis, so all games you play on Kongregate will count towards this limit. Open any flash game on Kongregate, right-click somewhere in the game and choose ‘settings’ then you’ll get the flash settings window, with 5 tabs. The 3rd tab says ‘local storage’ and here you can choose how much all games on Kong together are allowed to store on your PC – try increasing this number.
Another thing you can try is force reload of the page with HD Xyth. Ctrl+R should do the trick for most browsers.

HD isn’t made with vector graphics, so resizing isn’t really an option as it messes with the graphical quality. I have to choose one fixed size to accomodate as many flash game sites at once, and 800×600 is already near the upper end. On top of that, due to the graphical complexity, going over 800×600 pixels will affect the performance as well, it might not be a big deal for modern desktops, but most common laptops would be affected.
However, future Hidden Dimensions games are being made in both java and flash, so i’ll be able to offer a non-flash standalone version that can be scaled to much higher resolutions.

It should not be possible to “attack” (for AoE skills it’s understood why you would allow this) empty squares that have already been discovered as empty (unless there’s an enemy class of ship that can move into such locations). 3. it seems that sometimes when the enemy attacks their signature overtakes squares that were already discovered as empty. 4. I understand why barrage can hit known empty squares, but seeker drones should know not to look in them. 5. I should be able to target with “assault” an existing X, in order to take out the rest of the ship. I would thank you if you take these notes into consideration. keep up the good work.

Dual color structures can be created by combining any of the basic structures of two races (provided those races have dual color structures available). Some racial combos have two dual color structures, when trying to create one of these, the order in which you add the two basic structures will determine the outcome. Example : if you add a ‘Solar Harvester’ (HU) and ‘Antimatter Plant’ (CA) in this order, you can create an ‘Antisolar Plant’ (HU/CA), but if your add the CA structure before the HU structure, you’ll get a ‘Solarfusor’ (CA/HU) instead.

Have yo ever thought of making HD a game like the indie title FTL (faster than light) : maybe in a game you could actually see all the base ship and deploy fighters in Combat, like the HD games, But with a FTL gameplay style
