Thanks for the comments and ratings, everyone. :D You're giving me a lot of great ideas for a possible sequel. ;) Added lives are definitely on top of the todo list. I'll also try to look for appropriate music. Regarding lag, I'll look into my game loop code, thanks for pointing this out. :) I'd also like suggestions for power-ups, such as multiple balls which has already been mentioned. I also noted the request for a pause button, thank you for that. Regarding difficulty, perhaps I can add multiple difficulty levels, depending on whether the player wants a relaxed/casual experience or an intense/challenging one. Your suggestions are welcome! Thank you again! :D
Great game! So much effort went into polishing this one. Reminds me of the Apogee platformers I played some time ago. 5/5, and looking forward to your future games, funnaut. :)
And no, this game is not stolen. Notice the integration with the Kong API, among other things.
Thank you so much for the high ratings, everyone! :D
And the high scores are getting really interesting! They're giving me ideas on what additional statistics to report, for badges hopefully. ;) I'd love to hear your ideas!
wolfun, cayvie: Thanks for the 5/5! :D
777overload, yeanomaybe, admisaok: I'm glad you like the game. :)
phooltk, jonathanasdf, Semilancholy: Regarding apparent lag, this might be due to trail handling being tied to the render loop rather than the update loop, I'll try to correct this in the next update. Sorry about this, and thanks for pointing this out. I'll try to work on a trail switch in the meantime. :)
phooltk: Thanks for the really helpful feedback! Regarding key per position, I think this is a great idea, I'll try to push an update to incorporate this. Regarding added positions / pels, I'll work on those for the sequel. ;) Regarding randomness, I'm thinking that a pure skill mode based on random seed should work well to make things more deterministic. Might be a bit too complex to incorporate as an update, but this will probably be in the sequel. Thank you so much for the valuable feedback - these really help me improve in making games! :D
Hey, thanks for playing the game everyone! I'm seeing some really impressive scores. :D
I'm thinking of adding more statistics - any suggestions for achievements? ;)
ricochet999, Zouski, Hawkb, Trojan, radioactvchpmnk9, phooltk, benngehman, Semilancholy, jacksonas: Thanks for the kind words, really encouraging :)
hiperson134: Yes, triple score really helps with getting high scores. :)
36soot36: It's the ninja's turn to be controlled in the sequel! :D I have to think of another wacky scenario, though. Suggestions are welcome! Thanks! :D
Nithos: I wanted to give players the option to keep the rewards they earn from the game even after the game is over, and sign up makes this possible. But this is purely optional, only for those who want it, and I think it's a good thing to give the player choices. :) Thank you for your feedback and for rating the game! :D
RullendeDust: Sorry you didn't like the game, but thanks for playing. :) I think the game becomes not-so-easy when the ninja increases in speed, at which point you really have to choose the number of items you should carry to give you more room to move.
